There are some titles that are present both on Steam and on the meta store, and therefore can also be played just with the viewer without connecting it to the PC. Question: Is the experience always better by connecting the viewer to the PC right?

Do I have to keep cable in when playing games or not?

Hi, might be a dumb question but didnt find any answer. I have made a Steam Vr test and everything was green. Then i've download Oculus app and it says that one of my component doesnt fit for it. My airlink didnt work so i would like to get a cable. My question is, will it work with a cable even without 1 good component (idk the name in english, graphic card id say, i have a gtx 1650 and it doesnt fit). Thanks for any answer

Thank you, easy to follow, they don't make it easy though i must have took off my headset like 4 times because of the way they do things, started getting annoying. "Oh you trying to play hitman that is an unknown source take off your VR headset, goto the app and make sure unknown sources is turned on" as an example.

Hey can anyone help me? I did everything in the video but now when I’m on desktop in the headset I can only play the game as if I was by my pc and when I full size it it’s still like looking at a computer screen and I can’t play the game. Can anyone help?

My problem is when I launch games from steamer most games are to dark. Can't see barely anything during gameplay. I will try your way see if if it works. Thank u for vid

All of this for a damn head set jesus. the psvr is much simpler.

"That's it"....well most gamers will struggle with step 1 = spend 5000 dollar on a decent game PC (Z790 I7 - 32 GB - 1200 watt PSU with a 4090) to run VR with decent graphics (if such thing exists with the Quest 2) and decent frames. Oh...and if you have 5000 dollar for a decent gaming PC, spend another 1500 dollar on a HTC VR set). Oh...and be prepared for a nifty eletricity bill with a 4090 running at 100%. Wanna play ACC, Elite Dangerous, FS 2020, DCS VR, spend about 7000 dollar and you are good to go.

My quest 2 microphone has stopped outputting audio recently.

When i go to my oculus app on my pc, go to settings, and then general, the OpenRX Runtime setting says that SteamVr when I have the headset plugged into the pc. If i close out of steamvr, unplug my headset from my pc, and wait, it then says in the app that oculus is set as the active OpenRX Runtime. Whatever this is, is probably causing my microphone to stop working output wise in game and in discord. I have been using this headset without any issues for the last 5 months, I have not messed up any settings, and the only setting that I noticed does change is the OpenRX Runtime setting. The button to the right of this setting is now grayed out, ever since this issue has come up.

PLEASE does anyone know how to fix this? Ive gone through all the applications thoroughly, ive went through my sound control panel on my pc and noticed that the Recording and Playback tabs show the Quest 2's headset and microphone at 3 green sound bars, while my normal headset does not show any sound bars until i speak.

i tried using this method for surgeon simulator 2013 but it doesnt play in the vr mode, and it doesnt pop up in the steam vr recents section, any answer?

I've a problem. If I play star wars squadrons the game won't let me use the controllers. I can only use the keyboard, which is a mess with the oculus attached. Now, I've never used a headset before, so I don't know how or what to do.

Can you use the oculus as a secondary monitor,with keyboard and mouse using the same method?

I've connected (plugged in) my quest 2 to my PC with USBc to USBc, click on link (cable) and nothing happens. I go to Quest Link on the oculus turn off air link, and it just sits there loading. I don't know what to do. I've restarted my computer, everything is up to date, even factory reset the quest 2 and nothing is working

EDIT: It is VERY important you hook it up to the motherboard and not the case of the PC. It works now
