The laparoscopic adjustable gastric band (LAGB) surgery is the least invasive, permanent weight loss surgery treatment. It can usually be performed as a day-case or with an overnight stay in hospital. Most patients will be back to normal activities, including work, within a week. Streamline uses the Lap-Band for gastric band surgery; it is the best band and is the only band approved for use in the USA.
