Brother, seeing that Ainosuke VI will play Gorozo for the first time and that he will star in a play at Kabuki-za at the beginning of 2025 made me have a question: How do you see these opportunities that are appearing for Ainosuke VI? How does this affect him in choosing his possible new Kabuki actor name (which could be Kataoka Hidetaro III, Kataoka Nizaemon XVI or Jitsukawa Enjaku IV)?

I've been wanting to see if the local arts center I'm near in New Mexico would want to host a kabuki night or even let me do a small series, and I've been asking myself the same question you ended with: what would be a great intro to kabuki for people here? I've kinda convinced myself that Ibaraki or Kurozuka would probably work. They evoke the old, have good dancing, some action at the end, and people love a good demon story!
But I'm also limited to the 15 or so dvds I have from that masterpieces series. The envy I feel when seeing your collection is ineffable.
I wish I could be there next month to see all this! Still going in January. Thanks to you and IG (most actors have accounts) I'm beginning to recognize the stars!

Is it the first time that the Kabuki-za cancelled the Kaomise performance in November? To say that the Kaomise performance being the most important month during the whole year, why kabuki-za made the decision to maintenance the mechanism in this particularly important month?

Do you happen to know where I can watch a complete recording of Shichinosuke's previous performances of Osome no Nanayaku? I think a more general question is where do you recommend we who live overseas can go and watch Kabuki online (Kabuki On Demand is not available in many countries). I'm willing to overcome a paywall haha
