I would put "The Name's Lavisioth" up there as well, since I think you can get decos you don't get from Greatest Jagras, but otherwise, good list!

I also recommend Trophy Fishin' for Master Rank players that want a big fish great sword. They call it a Frozen Speartuna, but it's clearly a Swordfish.

IIRC the Arch tempered Zorah also gives you tickets that let you craft the Gen1 hunter layered armor right? Do we get to use those funny event weapons as layered weapons with upgraded guided lands?

The brachydios quest is a double reference, both to a 3U event quest for a brachydios, and to 4U where people woild use a brachy quest in the volcanic hollow to farm rare ores and charms and leave finishing the subquest. Its really neat double reference

was it so hard to reset your armor pigment settings so people could see what the gear actually looks like by default?

For anyone wanting to farm tempered monsters in Base World, there is an HR 30 event quest called "A Simple Task" and an HR 50 event quest called "Tracking the Delivery". They are both simple delivery quests with no monsters to fight, but on each of the maps (Ancient Forest and Elder's Recess, respectively) there will be tracks from many different tempered monsters. I've found tracks from up to 5 different monsters that can appear in that region. Best way to get tracks for specific tempered monsters.
Also, "The Greatest Jagras" event quest for farming decorations, or "The Name's Lavasioth" for decorations and tempered rewards. Truly the best deco farms.

Do the 3Star Master Rank event quest “Fifty Shades of White” to fight a Barioth ASAP. It gives you tickets to craft a sweet looking weapons of any type. It unlocks the Guild Palace tree for every weapon. The hammer is a huge Axe, the charge blade is a giant long sword and a sweet white and gold shield.

If the defender weapon carried you into Master Rank and nothing is catching your eye or you don’t want to farm for a measly increase, the weapons you can craft from this quest will instantly boost your damage.

I did not know that there was wyverian ears in Iceborne! I adored my layered wyverian ears in Rise and never took them off and was sad that I wouldn't have a way to have them again. Thank you so much Cotton!

My issue with the event quest is none of the "what you call layered armor" is showing up in layered armor. Yes i have layered armor unlocked and im in the guiding lands. Seriously. Ive done both monkey madness and the scarf and no layered armor appeared. yay

Do the arch tempered elder dragons in the event quest drop augment materials?

Regarding the whetfish event it is very much worth farming this quest for an hour or so to stock up on whetfish fins. they allow you to basically get grinder level 3 for free (only one sharpen animation)

If you are gonna show event skins then maybe show them in their natural colors and not your own preferred pink. Yeah pink is great but this video is a showcase. Many new players that dont even know about recoloring armors will just go ''Oh I don't wanna be pink Dante, no no.''

Rise i started after sunbreak.

I feel they missed out on a few themed events.

One in particlar i created in my head

Masters of Mud: MR 3 or 4 or up
HUNT Tempered (Oversized) Barroth, Jyuratodus, and Banbaro in Wildespire Wastes.
Weather effect: Heavy Rain

Special Reward/s: Hunting Horn that looks like a large modified tail of an Apceros. The sound it makes could either be a Peruvian Flute with Wood chimes accompanying.

Yall will diss this but this is what i wanted back in World before Iceborne but i added Banabaro since he can make Mudballs in the Wildespire Waste.

This quest could have also been put in Rise but instead of Banbaro it would have been Almudron.

I cannot find a single piece of information on the internet explaining what HR and MR does after 99. Literally everything, including the official Wiki, seems to only state how to unlock Master rank and that's it. Does anything happen after 99? Are there any more unlocks? Do stats increase at all? Is it literally just to show people how long you've been playing? I have tried Googling every permutation of this simple question and nothing pops up.

Make sure to specifically set your quest type to Events when responding to sos if you wanna jump in events or host and fire sos yourself.

I recommend doing Brand New Brute for the best armor spheres in the game and the tickets it gives you’ll also need for some other things.

Id also do The Wrath of Thunder Descends for decoration farming. If you’re in low or high rank and need decorations then do The Names Lavasioth.

50 Shades of White to unlock the Guild Palace weapons which are quite good.

Kadachi Twins is good for a cute Tobi Kadachi scarf and 100% chance @ a small and big crown.

Shame nobody cares about the 'trophy fishin' quest, which lets you make the Swordfish greatsword which.. is absolutely the best ice greatsword one can use, and it's good enough to solo alatreon with, absolutely worth the pickup but you have to do it 4-5 times if i remember correctly.

Really weird decision to talk about "The Greatest Jagras" quest and just say "he even spits up little goodies for you to pick up like you're one of his children". This statement is confusing and doesn't say "he spits up dozens of decorations throughout the hunt that can be looted, making it a great way to acquire lots of low tier decorations." Which is the most important piece of information a new hunter should know about it. Why omit or obscure arguably the main point of this event quest?
