20 inches and 55 grains is really the best AR. I have mine set up with an ACOG, M5 rail, old school broom handle, L3 Harris light/laser courtesy of Uncle Sam, MaTech rear and PRI front sights. I'm instinctively an AK guy but every time I pick up my M16 I go half mast.

My basic training book said the A3 was flat top or fixed full auto and a4 was flat top 3RB. After pondering on it a while I realized they meant A2 profile barrel with either a flat top or fixed but the full auto was constant. In Afghanistan I saw some Navy dudes with M16s at the bus stop at Bagram and some had A1 lowers and some had A2 lowers. I explained I was a gun nut and wanted to see them so they let me.

In BF4 it was the AN-94 in burst with the Shorty or G-18, Smoke grenades, Impacts (to retain 2), and the Grenadier (extra grenades) or Defensive Perk (+10% armor).
