ОтветитьThank you so much for this video it was so comforting. I always have such anxiety because I am so underweight. Nothing I do works. I can loose so fast but nothing comes back on. I always feel guilty that a protein bar settles and goes down better than a veggie. My stomach is so sad all the time I try eating other stuff but it's so hard. You make me feel no guilt in just eating a protein bar if that's all I can chock down. I try to be a grazer over big meals but eating feels like a chore everyday. It's so hard. I have medical issues causing my tummy issues not an eating disorder. This makes it hard because I want to gain weight so bad but it just does not happen. Ugh. Thanks for making me feel ok with my challenge.

ОтветитьEventhough I can not use all of these (on the way to recovery from Anorexia), just that I see just ONCE a video that is for gaining and not losing weight. It is so triggering seeing all the time weight loss videos while having to learn, that you should weight more to be healthy. That’s why I like your videos a lot as you always make sure, your tipps are for health and not weight los even if some of them can also help you losing weight.
And just to be clear: I can not use all of these BECAUSE I am on recovery WITH professionals.
This is helpful. I’m a distance track and XC runner and I don’t have a period. My weight has been hard to gain but I’m finally at my fertile weight! :)

Ответитьthank you thank you thank you for this video. every time i find a video like this it invigorates me to double down on continuing to fix my weight. ive been chronically underweight my entire life and it sucks. i feel guilty sometimes because i know that im technically '''''the ideal'''' in terms of the fucked up diet-based beauty standards, particularly from the 2000s-2010s standards, but the fact is that being small combined w/ my disability is an absolutely awful cocktail full of chronic pain and fatigue and co-morbid depression/EDs. i am SO ready to help my body help itself
i think particularly wrt living with EDs, making food fun as well as nutritious is SO IMPORTANT. food-as-experience is the cornerstone in like every single culture. theres a reason why east asian food, for example, is so often paired with social gatherings and groups (like hotpot!). we're MADE to enjoy food. we SHOULD enjoy food! and i can say first hand eating with loved ones makes it so much easier. i love making food for my partner because a) i'm taking care of them, and b) it means im also taking care of myself, which in turn makes them happy. i highly recommend having a meal buddy. the last time i was with my partner (we're ldr and trying to immigrate, so we stay together for half-years oof), i bumped myself up 20+lbs and oh my god, my energy!! my strength!!! i was even BREATHING better. the change felt incredible
I eat a bit to little when stressed or on my period becouse the action of eating just puts me of. Then there is my adhd meds to now and apparently my mom was also just low in weight when young.
I have been slightly underweight for more than a year now. Have been losing about 2 kilo a year for years now. Lost 10 kilo in 4,5 years while I have been trying to gain for 6 months.

Should i be worried about the amount of sturated fat in butter, oil, or full dat dairy products? I'm trying to gain weight but im worried about consuming saturated fats

ОтветитьEathing lots of times a day and drinking juices is not helping people with insuline residence so be aware of the fact that for some of us that might be detrimental....

ОтветитьThanks for all that is very great advice. But, just no to the orange juice (probably the worst on the glycemic index), condensed milk (if sweetened), pastries, etc. At least if you want gain weight with healthy foods.

ОтветитьI’ve been 85 pounds (5ft tall) for a very long time, I’ve been able to temporarily gain weight in the past, usually while on vacation, but it falls off so quickly. This video was incredibly helpful, the small ways that I can add calories to meals make so much sense!
It’s a struggle tho when you have a partner that’s trying to lose weight and your trying to gain weight. it’s easier for me to not eat what’s in the fridge than it is for him to resist the urge to eat the high fat foods that I need and he must avoid.
Covid destroyed me. I’ve lost too much weight and haven’t been able to gain. I also experienced an unexpected lung collapse before covid, and was hospitalized for 8 days. Now I’m still recovering from a fractured knee and still deal with pain from the lung collapse. I don’t eat while struggling with stress and anxiety. And I haven’t been able to workout normally. I feel as tho I’ve ticked off the universe 🤦🏻♀️ Hopefully your tips will help me.

ОтветитьI'm naturally thin but now I'm losing too much weight due to NOT eating tv food. I try to eat healthy but I'm afraid of glutamate wheat. I struggle with sugar so I Want to keep that under control. Its hard. Lots of small meals upset my stomach due to low stomach acid. Its frustrating

ОтветитьIt's so hard to find a good information on gaining weight, cause people think fat is the problem but it's a double edge sword that has issues for skinny people.
ОтветитьMy question is how to not be so lazy after cooking meals for my toddler I am just done with cleaning stuff and cooking. Yes we eat the same thing a lot of the time but it’s usually just quicker to make something for her then I don’t feel like making myself something.

ОтветитьThis was a great video for me! I am 66 and recently noticed that I dropped weight to an uncomfortable number. I have always maintained my weight within 3 pounds up or down, but now I do not have much of an appetite and only feel like snacking when I do get hungry. Of course, disease crosses my mind, but this video helped me to realize that I am not the only one that may be experiencing this situation. I am excited to go back to eating what I am comfortable with but will add some of the items you mentioned in the video! Thank you much! :-)
