Today we take a brief look at the last Stuart Monarch Queen Anne. She certainly had a difficult life and her experiences as queen were chaotic. Nevertheless, many important events took place during her time as queen and she remains an important figure in the history of Britain. I hope you all are doing well and thank you for your patience between uploads. I ran into multiple issues due to upgrading equipment, but hope to have everything locked down at this point in order to upload more regularly. I want to thank you for your interest in the video/channel and I hope I was reasonably able to do Anne's story justice. As always if I catch any errors, or any are brought to my attention, I will add them to the errors and corrections section of the video description. I did catch one small error already, in that I referred to Anne's brother Edgar as her elder brother when in fact he was her younger brother. This had been added to said section. Cheers!
ОтветитьI just came here after watching The Favourite and this is amaaazing
ОтветитьI don’t understand your statement about the pregnancy before Baby Anne’s birth. Was it a pregnancy of her father’s out of wedlock relationship? Janet
ОтветитьQueen Ann was 6 great aunt
ОтветитьShe was beautiful
ОтветитьGood work except maybe
"... the last Stuart monarch of..." *Great Britain*
given the
'acts of union' during the last decade of her reign.
William was invited, Anne was in charge, Parliament was always sovereign
ОтветитьQueen Anne and Mary fascinating their lives were ❤
ОтветитьThank you for the upload. I learned quite a bit in this session. Not sure if you're open for improvement but there's alot of repeat phrases or words you like to use. It's kinda funny I was giggling to you 😂 good job with the photos as well
ОтветитьWe Love Great Britain from Iran 🇮🇷❤️ 🇬🇧
ОтветитьShe’s such a BAMF. Thanks for covering her.
Ответить🥰🍕
ОтветитьActually, George I and Queen Anne husband Prince George are 1st cousin. They are the grandchildren of George, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and Anne-Eleanore of Hesse-Darmstadt. King George is the grandosn of them through paternal line, while Prince George is through maternal line
ОтветитьAnñe gathered up people's from the Upper Palatinate and sent them on to America/ The New World. Do you cover any of that? I've listened two times to the documentary. Am I missing something?
ОтветитьIsn't it strange that so many children were lost in infancy¿ Strange and scary..
ОтветитьAnne was NEVER "Queen of England" in her own right. She was Queen Consort as she was never granted the CROWN MATRIMONIAL, and because of a LAW that can NEVER be rescinded, no Catholic can ever sit on England's Throne ever again. This Law was made because of Bloody Mary and her ruthless murders of Protestants
ОтветитьAs well as the last to rule without a prime minister!
ОтветитьSo…where did her older brother come from…?
ОтветитьBetter than Game of Thrones.
No wonder the writer copied much of British history for his HBO soap opera
Lose a child -> political scandal -> repeat, throw in some wars and that's the whole video.
ОтветитьDecent video, but WHY ARE YOUR ADS SO BLARINGLY LOUD? Seriously, I watch a lot of history channels and your ads are particularly obnoxious.
ОтветитьGreat bio of a less known ( to me at least) English/British monarch
ОтветитьI thought kennings was Sarah Churchill?
ОтветитьQUEEN ANNE COMMANDS AND WE OBEY!!!
ОтветитьMy great Aunt. And Mary.
ОтветитьThis was pretty amazing to hear. It was very detailed for "brief" I have direct ancestral ties to Queen Anne through her mother Anne Hyde via Edward Hyde..... Which somehow connects to Winston Churchill and the Spencers....namely Diana and her children.
ОтветитьA fascinating misapprehension of history, promoted with false portraits.
ОтветитьI can't imagine losing 17 children, what a nightmare😢😢😢
ОтветитьI enjoy reminiscing about the life of my ANCESTORS but I admit that they were not Perfect as we called RECKLESS RULERS!
ISAIAH 41:2,7 GOLDSMITH
Wonder what would of happened if the Hanover's hadn't been successful?
ОтветитьI like it that the "Glorious Revolution" is presented as just a Machiavellian invasion of William of Oranje. It was a invasion, but one with a very succesful public relationscheme.
ОтветитьWilliam married Anne Villar 4 kids
ОтветитьEdward hyde,earl of clarendon

Ответить18 pregnancies, not children.
ОтветитьPeople dying around her would not have been unusual. People died early way to often especially children.
ОтветитьSo many children lost😢.
ОтветитьIn VaBch there's good length road called Princess Anne. Princess Anne County merged w/& became VaBch.
