I drive a pretty short onramp daily that also has a short merge, and every day there's a car trying to merge at 40-50 mph that's sandbagging the rest of us. I can understand some cars not being able to accelerate, but the other onramp I use seems like it's half a mile long and people pull the same thing, just at 50 to 60 mph.

Heel & Toe downshifting is actually quite a good thing to practice for smoother driving in general. I always blip the throttle in my V70 as that is the only way for it to not feel like a bit of a bucking mule on the shifts.

There was a car coming but they were in the left lane and I wanted to wait for them to pass since the road wasn't very wide I hadn't mastered steering yet. Then my mom was complaining about how I was being too safe and how I could have turned right sooner
