In Blender 4.0 they are rewriting some BSDF Nodes. According to Relese Notes of 4.0 the Velvet BSDF node has been renamed to Sheen BSDF, and a new shading model ("Microfiber") has been added as the default option. And secondly they implemented the new model of Multiple-Scattering Sheen. Pablo talked about this on one of the streams.
