I prefer tandem axles, single axleis are way to wobbly. That dinnette is a no go deal breaker for me. I also like having at least some hanging storage. I dont mind a short queen and would buy extra sheets for it right away. A swivle TV mount is also a must. And i dont have kids anymore so id pop that lower bunk up and turn that space into a doggie space. Of course id have struts put in the overhead cabnits. Id replace that dinette with a theater seat or a regular recliner and if there's room for 2 I'd add a second one.

They make this new fangled thing called adhesive Velcro tape, it comes in rolls so you can buy one and Velcro everything so your toaster never moves unless you want it to. 😊

There is nothing more disappointing than a floorplan with nothing but an uncomfortable “1950’s diner” booth dinette for seating😩a difficult to make east west bed😢and a bathroom with a cheap plastic toilet, a shower curtain that will drip water onto and rot the floor and no bathroom sink😬which means everyone will have to wash their hands, brush their teeth and shave in the kitchen sink🤢

The under bunk storage? Cat litter box. 👍

Those bunks gotta go, fitting 10lbs of stuff in a five pound sack doesn’t work sometimes. I larger bathroom and more counter space would be hot 🥵.

Definitely an entry level weekend fishing camper. Wouldn’t it just be best to disconnect the battery cables from the battery? Wouldn’t have to worry about battery drain that way.

I have the Jayco version on this floor plan.. the bunks offer lot of extra storage if u travel as a couple

I like this unit, even though it’s not quite my spec in several ways. I am liking the 7.5 wide and 6” extra headroom. I really like the door and window glass coverage. I love me trailers with lots of natural light and see out capability. The rear cargo door is a hit with me. I like having the queen bed and the extra isle width in the middle.

However, I am not satisfied with the galley. I dig the galley window, but the appliance configuration, not so much. I feel the fridge is a little too big for the space. Plus the gap below the stove top is a bother for me. I would move the microwave to that space and recover the current location for additional cabinet space. My wife does not like reaching over her head to use the microwave. And at the end of the day, I also prefer a lower location for the nuking cooker.

With the outside camp fridge, it even lessons the need for the 10 cubic foot fridge on the inside.

For me, the jury is still out on the use of the shower head for the sink faucet. Neat is kinda a new configuration for me. I I had my choice, I would move the bathroom skylight over the shower. Because headroom.

From what I saw, the inside power connections were poorly placed and configured for optimal use.

I was more satisfied with the rear side door 7.5 wide model you reviewed a week or two ago. It seemed a better fit over all for me.

Two things about the thermostat.

1. Come on Forest River, can we really not put it in level?
2. The first kid that climbs up in that top bunk via the dinette is going to rip that thing right off the wall.

Pro-Tip for those of you with a FR product with the fairly useless 'soap pump' on the counter. For about $60 you can junk it and plumb in an under-sink water filter. Fits right in, tons more useful than a bottle of soap that will dry out and turn to goo over a year...unless you're a super heavy soap user.

Hello Josh! Could you please do a review on the Apex 264RKS?

How easy would it be to change out that cargo door with one with a window in it? Or, if there are other RVs that have a bunkhouse with double windows (one top, one bottom) and cargo door, do you have any suggestions? Looking to stay in a similar price range.

2024 16KHWBL is a better floor plan in my opinion.

More smaller trailers is a good🎉idea.

Pull thise bunks out and do a storage hanging for clothes.

thanks for another great video review. I have narrowed down to this Wolf Pup Model or the Jayco 171BH. Both can be towed by my Ridgeline. Too bad you are not on the west coast. i would love to purchase from you.

I really hope this trend of higher Cargo Carrying capacity's continue.
I don't think people in general understand how important that is for the longevity of the Trailer.

2021 16BHSL I put 4 drawers under the bed, 2 under the stove. Added Baggage door magnets to hold the "gravity doors". Bamboo shelving above toilet. Going to add a drawer under bottom bunk. Knocked out the panel in the north dinette seat for a "shoe garage". Got rid of dinette table posts for swing mount single leg style. Installed Fajita fan. ;-) Don't even get me started on how I did a North/South "King" bed modification..
