How about an “intensive ice repair” tutorial? Or a “what to do when the Zam driver has a massive coronary” video?
ОтветитьYour work here is amazing and I can't thank you enough for this awesome series. One question I have is, since I go to public skating sessions—where there are little kids and figure skaters, and they do not allow hockey sticks—to practice and learn, is it detrimental if I don't use a stick when doing these drills and does it affect the motion and balance enough to create bad habits?
ОтветитьThat poor ice lol
Ответитьi watch this video to hear the ice crack
ОтветитьIf it sounds good then it is good 😂
ОтветитьWicked awesome.
Ответить🏒
Ответитьcan i do these drilles without a stick
ОтветитьThis video is amazing! You may have to run the Zamboni twice... I'll definitely be re-watching this video as I try to learn all the drills.
Ответить“How to get kicked out of the holiday skating rink, Exhibit A” 🤣👏💪
Love it! Thanks so much for sharing this, so much stuff to practice 🤓
two questions for you: first, I would love to try all those outside edge drills but I can barely balance for half a second before falling on the ice when I try to use the outside on only one foot. So what do you recommend to get started? Second, where did you buy that blue suit you are wearing, or where can you get something like it, as that looks comfortable to practice skating in.
ОтветитьАдминистрация нашего катка этого товарища выгнала бы сразу ... Обложив предварительно х...ями. Так рвать лед ему не дали бы ... )))
ОтветитьWhere can I get the blue jumpsuit? I want to practice without full gear but need pants big enough at least to fit knee/shin pads underneath. Any help is greatly appreciated!
ОтветитьI've used this video for training the past year and It has been a huge help. I started skating around 30 and you really helped me master my edges on and off the ice!
ОтветитьAs a zamboni driver, i hate this.
ОтветитьYou shouldn’t cross your arms on your Stick it wastes time and crosses you up it’s just an extra unnecessary step
Ответить👍 👍 👍!!!
ОтветитьThe best
ОтветитьSean, when I first watched this video several years ago...I think all I saw was blurry feet. I had very little idea what I was looking at. I have been working on all the drills, progressing from the easier ones to the hard ones and now I watch this video from start to finish with a really good idea of what this is all about! Thanks! This has improved my skating and coaching ability immeasurably!
ОтветитьZamboni Driver: "Ah, I see jumpsuit has been back... better call in the big guns."
ОтветитьJust started playing this year. Very happy I have found this guys videos.
ОтветитьThis is why figure skaters dont like hockey skaters during public sessions, tearing up the ice messes up our figure skating elements. Should have separate sessions.
Ответитьwhat radius of hollow are you skating on
ОтветитьHow tight are your skates supposed to be? Do you have a video on proper skate fitment?
ОтветитьIs there a training 'casual' ?
ОтветитьLaura Stamm C cuts..
ОтветитьI don't really understand what's the point of screwing the ice? Can you not play without digging so deep into the ice?
ОтветитьI bet he likes CCM.
ОтветитьReally great drills!
ОтветитьWhat do I have to do to get you to come to Florida and do some clinic's
ОтветитьDo this on the figure skating rink! Thanks
ОтветитьAmazes me when you are going backward how your weight is ‘always on your toes’ but yet you don’t have bad posture or lean too far forward!! What’s the secret..? Weight centered throughout your core and upper body, knees over toes?? Very impressive..but going to be hard to demonstrate:-). Lol
ОтветитьThat how you be come a better skater
ОтветитьThat was awesome!! It reminded me of many moves that my son Jeremy practiced over the years.
ОтветитьWhat if your skates are constantly slipping on the bubble drill.... and why do my cuts never sound like this. Mine more like a stopping sound. Spray of ice sound...
ОтветитьОчень хорошие силовые упражнения , подходят как для любителей так и для профи 👍
Ответитьmost useful, informative, detailed, practical instructional video I've found! thank you for doing this coach!
ОтветитьОчень хорошее катание и хорошо показно поэтапность исполнения!
Ответитьvideo should be retitled to "how to destroy your neighborhood ice rink"
ОтветитьWho ever owns the ice ring must be super glad over how you mess up the ice!!! 🙃
Ответитьsimply brilliant , thank you
ОтветитьLike the scissors kick.
ОтветитьVery amazing indeed. Now i want to try ice skate.
ОтветитьWooowwww. Amazing feet work. If i can do this i can shed some pounds and stay fit. It could also help reduce my knees arthritis keeps knees moving.
