How to Build the Perfect Starter Raft | Raft

This game just came to PS5 and I'm gonna run this raft for my first play-through. Great job btw, such a compact yet efficient little starter raft.

how long and wide should platform be?

Thumbs down! This is not whatsoever a starter raft. Holst is delusional. Starter raft is needed to work on finding sand and clay to go into furnace tech. And no you don't have a furnace early game which is by definition since early game signifies prior to getting the bricks needed, and researching/crafting a furnace.

Note the triangles are there on each corner due to shark preferring to attack corners. And seems to always go for the triangles. The only mistake of this raft is using the wrong wood for triangles due to thinking it's stronger. It's actually is not so it's best to use the regular base wood since wood is super scarce. The only thing to use the alternate wood on is to designate two of the four starting squares diagonally. So they are properly referenced. It's difficult to see in the image under the anchor and diagonally under the research table.
