These look great! One thing I’ve learned in my digital designer life is that darker colors look like they move back in space and lighter colors look like they are closer to you so using a darker Jean as the inside higher waist and lighter ones on the outside would likely look more pleasing to your brain’s eye by matching that dark/light depth perception trick.

But the pocket cut out is cute too.😉

These pants are totally neat, but I am more interested in the too short to be a mini as a layering piece since I would probably get more use out of it this way. I think this is the combination of two colors which makes stomach visually much bigger like during pregnancy. May be if you did darker color inside, brighter outside the effect would be vise versa.

So couldn't we just take a too short denim skirt and secure it under the jeans, or wouldn't that work?
