Witcher 3 A Guide to Gwent: How to set up your deck Early-game!

Alright everybody, there are a few questions that are being repeated a lot so read up before asking please:

1. If you didn't buy the cards from the very first Innkeeper in White Orchard and she now isn't available to buy cards from, you can get her cards elsewhere. Buy all the cards you can from Bram, who is stood on the outskirts of the town in White Orchard near the bridge. He will have all the cards, but only one Decoy.

2. The other two Decoys are purchased from the Crows Perch Quartermaster and the Seven Cats Innkeeper if you didnt get them in White Orchard.

3. The Elven Merchant near Carsten, The Ofieri merchant in Upper Mill and the Cow card are only available if you have the Hearts of Stone expansion. Use other Siege or high value Ranged cards if you don't have the expansion.

Can you get 3 catapults?

Tip for anyone using Skellige deck. Keep Crache as leader and ignore berserker cards. Crache’s skill can be abused with muster cards. Round 1 play Gaunter, he will muster your 3 gaunter darkness, play decoy to recall Gaunter. Play as normal until round 2. Use leader skill to reshuffle graveyard into deck and repeat. This works great for Gaunter, the longships and Caerys. All muster cards that can be used with this strategy. Take out all berserker cards from your deck to keep it small and streamlined.

Great video, thanks. When I play a Gaunter card the other two won't automatically be played, just the one. Do they all have to be in my hand, in my deck or in my collection of cards? Or has this been changed in a recent update?

Where is the inn on the map you mongloid

Who the f what's the merchants that you were buying off the beginning I couldn't tell between your thick accent and your fast-talkin. Maybe talk slower in your video and incorporate critical information for example where you are when you're randomly talking to a random merchant. Your video shows somebody with the attention span of a gerbil on speed

Dunno if you still read comments for such an old video, but I couldn't keep track of anything it went so fast. Where to buy the cards was fantastic, but in terms of how to play, do you have another guide that explains more or a recommendation to another guide, even yours, that shows maybe playing a game and explaining it as it progresses and why the moves are smart to make? I try to relate it to hearthstone (which it kinda is except for extra ranges of where cards can place) but im about done with the game, dlc and all, but I avoided Ghent cuz it was just so hard. Like I forfeit games cuz I didn't have enough unit cards, just to realize I had 4 different decks lol

I have learned you can get all 3 cards of that card from the innkeepers Do not buy all there cards leave at least one And MEDITATE 5-7 Days for them to get more cards & repeat

Sorry to bother you, the merchant near the Vegelbud estate is nowhere to be seen. Did you have to complete the first few quests of Hearts of Stone to get him to show up?

Plsying this for the first time on ps5 I didn't win the first gwentt game on white Orchard and the other one I win by reloading until I win I hate this gwent shit soo much a game is a distraction right so they have to put a distraction withing a distraction when I'm searching for my daughter,?? That's when open world storytelling falls flat for me the agency go out the window real fast! Plus there's some quest that if you want the best endings is mandatory!! Is just annoying! Ppl told me " use the northern realm deck" use the spy cards" and I'm over here hearing Chinese I'm a gaming nerd but not a tabletop one!!

Spy cards is where it's at. There's nothing better than sitting on a buttload of cards whilst your opponent is throwing them all on the table.
