Offense, forecheck and neutral zone still looks busted. I see they got rid of the instant acceleration problem, which was easily changed in NHL 20 and onward. Not sure if I like the massive defensive pressure object blocking the very middle of the O-Zone. Not sure I like the dump and chase\dump out physics, that looks busted. Looks like there is very low effort to improve AI cycling and coordination for scores, still looks like the same overall experience just worse controls and more shit blocking the view. Now, unless they minimize the hud shit, I might find myself staying away from EA NHL for good. At least until they remove that crap, and maybe actually fix the 30 yr old trash AI I probably will pass. NHL 20 probably has the least busted Offensive AI, sort of. Difficulty changes it, they become stupid as you up that. I noticed offensive AI in each game does not adapt to the difficulty the defense is playing on. Some games it is ridiculous, super difficult to score a goal since cross ice one timers in the zone or whatever even with inside leverage still ends up a turnover. I have to say, EA needs to fuck off and give the license to a company that cares.

How can i het full simulation on this game?

I’ve never bought a hockey game, but I’m considering it this year. I’m tired of trash EA games like Madden and Fifa (now EA sports FC) every year. Is there any ridiculous move on offense or any glitches on defense I need to adjust for in NHL 24?

I borrowed the game from a friend to see if it was worth buying and the answer is no , anybody that has not bought it yet save your money and just play NHL 22 it's practically the same game minus the horrible change to the controls especially the hitting I even prefer NHL 14 which has the knock an opposing player into the bench feature even NHL 11 which had the dump and chase the puck. NHL 24 is garbage. I still play NHL 22 and in my 9th season and won 8 Stanley cups straight I play Superstar level as reached level 99 Elite medium also the Captain and I get bored of winning I have everything authentic and no game sliders apart from increasing the hits 70/70 . It is a very laggy game I hate the indicators love my NHL but sorry EA not good enough just another cash grab the difference with this game to others is the current rosters and kits. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CRAP GAME

I played 5 seasons with the Rangers on Superstar diff in 23, won 2 championships. This year I'm dominating with the Blue Jackets. Why is there an A.I slider for difficulty? It's default on 0 out of 6.. The game feels super easy where last year was tough. Is this A.I slider new? I don't mess with sliders, I set it on the hardest difficulty and play. Now I discovered this slider and I'm wondering if that's why it's so easy.

They need og controler mode Im old and tired of relearning a game ive faithfully played for 14 years now muscle memory is the fun in being seasoned First off removing x ? Ok … thats fine But giving to reverse hitting ? Thats lame … and taking away the able to backskate entering the zone and turn towards or away from the boards is gone too ! Sweaty L2 guys are one thing. But the skating was more fun And felt natural You took skill away from the game and gave it to one button arcade players ,awesome

And in club we need to be able to be on the ice warming up. While we wait for others to join Bring back draft lobbies …. Do the creators even play their game ? Does the skating seem fun to you ! It isnt Last years was the Best version of the franchise. This is a step backwards. You’re trying to make it where one button can make new players a superstar, and take away being able to to backskate And move freely. Stop dumbing the game down

The goalies flopping around like a fish out of water, the giant ass circle taking up half the zone, the bright green stamina bars under every player, the Xs and Stars under players...is this even simulation hockey anymore? What is this cartoony ass arcade game? Give me back NHL2K

Looks like the same lipstick on a pig the last 10+ years. Havent really liked an NHL game since 09, still play it. Too many poke check penalties, no redirected shots and too hard to hit. No thanks, thanks for saving me $90
