ОтветитьTHERES ALWAYS MONEY IN THE BANANA STAND💸🍌
ОтветитьYour show is amazing! I love that this entire concept exists and that it's all open for public use! This is spectacular and frequently saves my History grade, so cheers!!
ОтветитьI am SO GLAD that i was alive in and can remember the 1960s. It was epic in a way that almost can’t be described.
ОтветитьMakes me real sad hearing about Roe v Wade now...hope progress stops moving backwards soon.

ОтветитьThank you LBJ for absolutely strong arming the F*** out of congress to get the civil rights and voting rights bills passed. That man was flawed like everyone else in history but man did he have some heroic moments.
ОтветитьSo uh hi...2023 here. What's a voting rights act and who the f is roe/wade?
Oh God.
Yeah... The section on Roe v. Wade really has not aged well. (Massive double-facepalm)
ОтветитьThanks so much! I really appreciate these videos, but it's a little sad that the definition of privacy legally has been changed since Roe v. Wade precedent has changed.
Ответитьthanks so much!!
ОтветитьProbably definitely not Lee Harvey Oswald.
ОтветитьI just want to say THANK YOU!!!! Your videos made my dry History textbook reading bearable. Every week your videos were the only part I looked forward to! Keep on truckin.
ОтветитьSide note: Malcolm X was assasinated by Thomas Hagan, a former member of the Nation of Islam. It wasn't a racially motivated assassination, it was because of the disputing going on between Malcolm X and N.O.I once X left on bad terms, so don't write it was racially motivated in an exam : )
Ответить💯
ОтветитьThe time in US History my favorite show Mad Men takes place.
ОтветитьWhen this video was posted, Obama was still president. It feels like it was 100 years ago, and I’m only 22. Man, it’s been a busy couple of decades. So much stuff going on...

Hearing them talk about Roe is heartbreaking. How could we allow that to be undone?

ОтветитьB. Based on his points of focus and commentary, where do you think Jon Green falls on the political spectrum? Use some info from / his reactions within the video to support where you place him:

ОтветитьThe 20s and 60s era feminists are the true powerful women that built America. Modern-day feminism groups have turned into a joke and is completely extreme.
ОтветитьJohn Green is our generations social studies Bill Nye
ОтветитьYou could have used something except the virtual boy for the 90s image
ОтветитьI am a bit disappointed that you didn't make a single Star Trek reference! Star Trek was a very progressive show from the late 60's that had the first interracial kiss on television, was the only show that MLK let his kids stay up late to watch, had a gay actor, and had a black woman that played a character other than a maid! I really think it should have been mentioned at least once.
