I Have Only Spent 13 Years On This Beautiful Planet So Far. And I Am Very Glad That I Was Able To Fly On The 747 Atleast Once In My Life. It Was A Thai Flight From Bangkok To Phuket. Even That Was 5 Years Ago. The Flight Was Good. I Wanted To Go To The Top Floor But I Couldn't. But Still, I Flew On The Queen Of The Skies.

Well, they still need to do more research. We just took the midday flight from London, via Perth, to Melbourne, and in economy they do nothing to support passengers trying to adjust, or sleep during normal sleep times. I doubt we would fly Qantas again.

My first flight on a 747, 1980 from Frankfurt via Singapore...on to Perth and than to Sydney, I will always remember!
It was with Lufthansa.
After Perth the plane was just about empty....and 6 very young stewardesses....that's what they were called then....came to the back of the aircraft, were I was sitting....and how excited they where....looking for the first time at Australia.
Being German, we started talking, how exciting it this is etc. ... I was young as well and a poor student, having just been granted a 2 year scholarship to do a research PhD in Geology.
Well,
the purser and the girls invited me to the first class section, no one else there, and we ate all the left over food....first time I ever tasted caviar and lobster, all washed down with French Champagne.
