Does the glitch work for the digital version of the game or for playing from the disk?

I figured that the secret for the exploit to work is to make sure that, when you do the step of reloading the save from the previously file in which you've already completed the game, it MUST be on the "Finale" chapter. Many, before seeing this exploit, probably messed around chapters after completing the game for specific trophies or collectibles, like I did. But then I get to finish the game once again with a save closest to the end game. By then, I started performing the method shown in the video. Congratulations for bringing this up for people who simple doesn't have the time for completing a game all over again for a platinum.

I didn’t even know this existed but it was still worth playing through it on this difficulty. Got the bad ending on my normal play through so went for the good one on ranger hardcore. Nothing feels more rewarding
