How to Play MIDI Keyboard for Beginners [FL Studio 20]

I have bougt fl studio but I have no ide how to make songs with midi keybord or I should say this program is so advanced so I don't even know how to do anything! : ( Can some one please healp me!!

How did you get it to paint notes instead of recording into wave form? I want to make what I play editable like what you have here. I can't find anyone who goes over this particular setup in any tutorial.

Sequencing in fl is a pain in the ass whennusong midi controller I'm faster using midi keyboards than to draw it in

This is such a dumb question but for chords, do you have to specifically press keys or press any set of keys within said scale?

I.e. In c major, could I do C F E C as a chord or does it have to be a specific set of chords? Sorry if the question is confusing
