ОтветитьJust trying to fucken complicate working out, huh? A lot of people don't know this stuff and have done just fine. I think your advice is just going to fade into obscurity and people are still going to develop nice arms without ever taking your advice.

ОтветитьYeah man, you don't know what you're talking about. Measuring the "activation" doesn't tell you whether it's the most effective exercise. You're priobably not the first, but you are a douche bag drawing conlcusions with improper knowledge.

Would have been faaaaaaar more effective, if you spoke less, showed more in the format of What's happening and what should have happened or was expected and doing what instead gives the expected activation - better if showed with animation of the muscle.
(Been training for a decade, from science back ground, I usually understand science with ease but this was just painful to watch. May be my mind has been pampered to understand more with those animations)

ОтветитьPlease note that Brahialis and Brahioradialis are working from bottom to mid-movement of the arm when you do hammer cirl. The biceps is ment to activate at 100% only from mid to top movement in a twising form. So if you want optimal activation of your biceps please do the cirl from mid to top and you twist your wrist as if you want your pinky to touch your showder or point outwards of your body... Try it and you will thank me ... :) you can test it in your next video :)

ОтветитьI like the video. Good info. I'm not exactly sure what the lesson is here though. Like we're trying to isolate the individual muscles of the bicep and we learned that it's hard to do that, but if you just keep lifting then all of the bicep muscles get some stimulation and theoretically get stronger, which seems like a good thing. Does anyone really want just an extremely shredded long head and super weak short head? Does this mean that the incline curl is actually not a good biceps exercise overall? Or just that it doesn't target the long head as well as everyone seems to think?
