Highly processed items are not real foods. Our problem is that these things have been sold as foods but our bodies do not recognize it as so,etching that give healthy energy to our mitochondria. Unfortunately, while these iconic items are very tasty and cheap, they are also the icon of the demise of the American health. These items are chemicals that are super cheap made by manufacturers to make them really rich.

I always thought twinkies would be delicious, I finally found them at a Us candy store in Australia, it was about $15 for a box which was expensive. I bought it and it was horrible

As a non-American, I've always been amazed by the mind-share that these terrible processed products have with Americans. I hear constant references to Twinkies, Oreos, Mac and Cheese (which I only recently learned referred to processed box food, not a real pasta dish). Eat real food! Support local bakeries instead of multinationals.

Fellow fat man here, born may of 1993. I grew up with many of these unhealthy foods but Kraft cheese slices use to taste good, recipe must have changed over the years since the 90s. Totally tastes like chemicals not to mention how it makes you feel.

Its not just junk food but the quality of the ingredients. HFCS, Hydrogenated (trans fat), food dyes, preservatives, etc. - All poison. Most people eventually realize you can't t eat this way and expect to live long or live disease free. That plastic wrapped "cheese" might was well be all plastic, if they wanted to be honest about what they are really making. K mac & cheese is ultra processed wheat goo mixed with hydrogenated fat - all coated in yummy yellow 5. Jello can be a health food but not with all the dyes and HFCS used in most brands. In the end, most food for profit (including all fast food) will ultimately not be good for you. 2023 - and if you want to survive in the coming years, use your common sense and go back to basics, cook from scratch, use pure butter and stay clear of any artificial sweeteners and ultimately stop listening to doctors.

Never even tasted any of these. And yes, they all look so junk. I never understood why people liked cheese. It was not never part of the Indian diet where I grew up. Just veggies and spices made all dishes, and desserts were raw fruits. I am sad now that traditional dishes are being decorated and stuffed with processed cheese.

Perhaps Kraft’s mistake was that they didn’t “become their own competition”. Rather than make halfway attempts to “healthily” their products, they could have founded, acquired, etc. foods that weren’t burdened by Kraft’s processed reputation, not that that’s not easier said than done. McD’s tried it with Chipotle, and Coke does this with Fairlife milk.
