What if we play as a hybrid from shepherd relationships also hopefully because of how time may have moved on there is variants of the species or some of them say anything mixed with human and taurian maybe suped up biotics the possibility is endless and i just hope they get the story 100% and makes sense i think personally they will use the two endings as a start point destroy and synthesis the big bad could be the ones in andromeda and some how end up with the milkyway whatever the story i hope they go all in full everything relationships nudity violence friendship and betrayal personally cant wait for the new instalment but 100% needs to follow on the game has potential to be absolutely massive and i too want it all

Mass Effect 4's new companions, we need more from Tali's people and maybe a Geth companion.

It better be Wrex. Urdnot Mordin could be interesting but I would way rather see Wrex. I also think the Turian in the club with bent legs might just be a Garrus retcon unfortunately

This all makes sense if we just accept the prologue will be set post ME:3, with Liara, wrex and the Geth we hear Liara talking in the dated audio log searching for Shepard, which we are shown in the Geth poster and in the teaser trailer. (Here we have the mudskipper in both scenes) And then later, for the main game we have a time jump to the 2800’s, and Liara and the same Geth getting the andromeda distress signal, who we see liara with in the N7 poster. That’s where the rest of the game will be set.

I’d love for James to get another chance, he only got the one game to shrine and he’d be a fun addition.

i know ME is a human-centered game, though I would love the chance to play as another race, with some diff race, like an asari, with a culture background that would also give you like a more personal road ahead, some advantages and some disadvantages as you go ahead, affecting some quests, personal interactions etc.

It will be hard to determine who is who, simply because the drastic physical differences between Andromeda Turian and Salarian bodies versus Milky Way Turian and Salarian bodies. In Andromeda, both species' legs are very dramatically bent in weird ways, whereas in the Milky Way, the Salarians have a slight backbend to their calves and the Turians do not. Also, we have to keep in mind that it took the Initiative nearly 700 years in cryogenic stasis to arrive in Andromeda. Literally everyone left behind in the Milky Way (except Liara, Grunt, Wrex, and maybe Aria T'lok) would have died centuries before of old age. Unless old companions and Shepard were somehow placed in cryogenic stasis thenselves, it wouldn't make sense that Ryder would ever meet Shepard or Garrus! BioWare will need to suss this all out before the release of ME5. There are almost no consistencies between the Trilogy and Andromeda. They need to be consistent!!

Maybe they built a realy bug mass relay going from the milkyway to the Andromeda, galaxy

How about kicking on the system at the end of andromeda activated a system in the Milky Way pretty much making it possible to quickly terraform worlds for the ones we lost in me3. Or something along those lines. It would make the new game pretty much about getting everything back to norm.

Great work! I always wanted to be able to play as other races like Drell or Asari without having to play multiplayer. That being said, I'd like to be able to play as Mass Effect's Alien races in the next game.

I think this is set between the main trilogy and andromeda and involves the leadup to that at least to some degree.

This possible protagonist/ pathfinder is possibly the OG pathfinder from andromeda. He seemed a well respected big deal before his death to leave andromeda's hero in charge. They way they talk about him is reminiscent of how Sheppard and specters get talked about.

I don't think all the companions need to be bi/pan aliens. They cannot all be Jack Harkness. However the gender chosen for the protagonist should be the pregered romantic partner for most of the companions except for a few that are bi. And some should be human. However it's done though the story must come first. Romancing companions is a firm part of the ME universe, so it cannot be left out, but there is much more to the games that must also be paid attention to and the overall story is the Primary Priority above all else so long as the rest gets enough work to give us a decent playable game.

The Geth character give me theory about the symbiosis or the control ending is Cannon. And I what a Elcor companion

I think much faster travel between Galaxies will be established for ME5, i think it will take place in both the Milky way and Andromeda but focusing primarily on the Milky Way

Only thing i want is the models to not be ugly. The only good looking characters are the aliens in andromeda which is crazy since the previous games had good looking humans. They also made the asari not as attractive in andromeda for whatever reason.

I can explain the legs. Digitigrade stilts are used in costuming to create non human leg shapes, and sometimes motion capture artists wear them to get the right leg shape for the characters that they're playing.

They don't all look the same though. have a variety of makes and models, and the actors themselves can assume different postures while wearing them so they can assume a pretty wide range of body types. Some people hunch over a lot to make more monstrous characters, while others keep their stilts short and walk straight so their posture looks more human. I think the later would be ideal for turians and quarians. (Though quarian leg shapes aren't really achievable for human actors because they have a second joint directly below the knee so quarians might just have to make do the way that previous mass effect games did.)

The krogan could be kesh's child as well as the first protagonist that isn't a human but another species just a thought/ hope

I'm hoping for a human protag. With Liara, a different romancable Asari (Shiala?), romancable female Human, Geth, male Quarian, Drell, Krogan (Grunt? Mordin the Krogan?), Salarian (female?), Raloi, Batarian, and a totally new alien species

I am boring and like playing as a human and romancing human/asari/quarian, nothing too alien lol

And of course Hanar and Volus ship buddies :)

I agree that most romancable companions should be bi! And sue me too, I don't want Liara romancable, she's Shepard's! 😂

A race I've always thought would be a fun companion is an elcor. Sure, they have the dry delivery of their speech, but I think they have a lot of potential for the role

I feel like I'm the only one who wants a vorcha companion. We know from ME3 that their was some in the alliance who are amazing fighters but also less like the the stereotypical vorcha.

Quatrain and Turian had a baby. Maybe that’s why the one looked like that

A Volus companion biotic god would be the best, but for real I remember Volus on the online mode of ME3 and it was so fun to see them in action

I could easily see them taking a page out of the Allan Wake and Last Of Us sequels, and giving you dual protagonists. There's elements of both Andromeda and OG in the teaser materials. Running a dual story slipping between (a survived/resurrected,) Shepard and Ryder could be exciting, satisfy a great deal of unresolved questions from both galaxies, and up the stakes over "the galaxy was nearly destroyed" from the OG trilogy.

I know this comment is late, but I would really love a Drell companion, that DOES NOT DIE! I love all the Drell they have put in the trilogy, but it was very few. Thane really only had ME2, (without the mod). They are my personal favorite race, it's a shame we don't see them very much at all. Great video, I love your ME content 🙂
