Dark Souls Remastered | How To Get Super OP As A PYROMANCER Build Early Game

I’m 0 for 7 throwing dung pies and fire bombs at capra demon. I’m not sure its possible anymore.

You make it look so easy

This routing is ok IF you're not using the master key but since you are you can do the following instead:
- Start by getting the items in Firelink, our priority being the souls and Zweihander.
- Go to blight town through the valley of drakes using the MK, rest at the bonfire, pop your humanities WITHOUT turning human and farm slugs for 10 green titanite or 9 large titanite, you get 2 from items on the floor already(I would advise the latter though it's more time-consuming)
- Use the souls from farming to get the stats for the Zwei (16 Str + 10 Dex for 2-handed)
- Turn human and kill Mildred with a couple backstabs, then summon her to kill Queelag. Be careful, you're sill low level with a +0 weapon, just make sure to aggro her and hit when you can, let Mildred do most of the work.
- DO NOT RING THE BELL or you might lose the Fierlink bonfire later on by accident. just go down, through the hallway into the demon ruins, and let one of the eggys grab you to get the parasite.
- Go kill Ceasless by grabing the clothes in the altar then run to the fog door and let gravity do its work.
- Go back towards the bell, on the lower floor hit the illusory wall and talk to Eingyi. By the time you are back you should already have the egg head so he should let you pass immediately. If you don't have it yet just tell him yes and wait for a couple more minutes.
- Talk to the fair lady, join the covenant then talk again with eggyboi, if you don't have a pyroflame he will give you one if you have 11 Int and he can augment them too which means you can start with a different class from pyro, though pyro starts at SL 1 and only requires 5 Lvls to have the required stats and starting with the flame means you don't need to pump Int which makes it cheaper and faster. Make sure to get rid of the egghead after talking with Eingyi since the thing reduces the number of souls you get.
- Now you should have at least 40K from the 2 Bosses + 8K from Quelaag's soul plus another 5K or so souls from the soul items in Firelink and lower Blighttown. That gives you 53K and you need 53500 to upgrade the flame to +10 to unlock quelana. Congrats, now you're almost OP.
- with 500 souls you can buy combustion, 5k for great combustion or 8k for fire orb. You have 2 attunement slots with pyro class so great chaos fireball will have to wait 2 levels or so to get a 3rd attunement slot.
- Now, depending on whether you prefer to farm the green titanite for a fire weapon or large titanite your route changes, if you go for the green one, go to Firelink, then the catacombs towards Papa bonesmith for the +5 Fire weapon, if you went for the large titanite route go to Valley of Drakes, dark root forest, get the grass crest shield, go to Andre and upgrade to +5 RAW. Congrats now you have a +10 Flame, some spells and +13 weapon. If you need souls to upgrade the weapon you can go towards the bridge with the drake, get the shortcut to undead burg to collect soul items and activate the drake cutscene, that way you can just go to the bridge and let the dragon kill the fools for 550 souls a pop. The reason I'm recommending the Raw upgrade is that it doesn't have split damage, is higher level and can be buffed so it will always do more damage overall than the +5 fire; it's cheap, so if you want to change it to something else later on you can, and the enemies in lost Izalith are resistant to fire so having pure physical damage will make things easier in that area. You can do that area first after getting the lord vessel and then upgrade the weapon to something different. Remember that you need to go to the lower part of New Londo ruins which by this point could be either the second half or last quarter of the game, to upgrade your weapon to +15 normal.
- Now you can enjoy being OP for at least 3 quarters of the game.

EDIT: Never mind! I got it! The spot works but it's not perfect. You have reposition yourself frequently.

I like to wear the reaper looking robes that Ceaseless Discharge guards and have pyromancy always equipped on the left hand and Quelaag’s Furysword equipped on the right.

I feel like a badass fire lady and I’m able to have less than 25% equip load. Yes I’m running around with no shield and 10 humanity but ultimately it makes me better at the game cuz I’m a lot more careful and purposeful with each move I take

Love these guides. One thing to note is that the fire weapon isn't just for style or early OP-ness, it also means no scaling, ie. no stat investment, HOWEVER 35-45 dex increases cast speed, so there's that.

Too many things not explained. She assumed everyones veteran while watching the video. Not everyone knows what the heck shes talking about. (Me at least)

Great guide! I did everything in the video and it took about an hour. Except the Pyro upgrades and the Spells. Those thing are expensive as hell. Even with the farm in the Darkroot Garden + Gargoyles + Gaping Dragon + Queelag it is very difficult to obtain all of the souls required. It takes 340,500 souls to fully upgrade all 21 levels of the Pyromancy Flame (including the ascention). Great fireball is 20,000, Firestorm is 30,000. In total, you need 390,500 souls. Capra is 6,000, Gaping is 25,000, Gargoyles 10,000, Queelag is 20,000, Maneater Mildred is 8000. This gives you 61,000 Souls. This means you need another 279,500 souls. With the 9k you get from the forest hunters, you need to kill them 31 times. Each kill taking 2 minutes, you need to farm them for an hour. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure as a pyromancer you get more benefit from keeping the claymore normal so you can Quality build.

Does it count as cheating if you just farm the Drake for souls rather than killing him? You get like 555 souls every 30 seconds. I did that to level up my pyro glove. Then of course clicked the wrong answer (hadn't watched any guides) and he went crazy and I had to kill him, lol. Fortunately had already levelled the glove up to 15 from the other pyro merchant in Blighttown and she has good spells :)
