"And Juno doesn't stick around to hear her take her last Beth breath" 💀💀💀 I swear James has the best commentary ever.

My headcannon is sarah made it out, never saw juno in the truck, and roll credits.

Nothing wrong with a straightforward ending in a horror film.

I love these types of movies. This and like the ritual and other survival situation gone wrong movies are scary enough on their own. But mix it with horror and it might be peak. Either this or torture-porn stuff like saw and hostel. That’s also why I love until dawn, and why I wish the idea of stuff like wendigos (not the fake shit from until dawn, even if that is scary) and skin walkers and yetis would be explored more

Why do the USA insist on ruining perfectly fine movies.
Dumb alternate endings, daft producers overriding creative decisions and the never ending stream of remakes of foreign movies that are worse than the original in every imaginable aspect.

And this is why you always make sure that everyone has a map and that everyone knows where you're actually going. Cave diving is insanely dangerous even with maps and proper equipment. Also a small side note, I believe the cop was killed with the pipe in Scream 2, not 3

Fun fact, the actors reactions when the crawlers first show up is genuine fear. The filmakers made sure to keep the actors playing the crawlers away from them so that the actors wouldn't know what they looked like until their characters would

Cave-diving, much like climbing Everest, is so dangerous and pointless. Everyone who chooses to do these things has voided their right to not die.

i watched both films when i was eight because my brother recommended them to my dad. i‘ve always loved watching horror movies, because my mom started me on them young. so it didn’t seem like a horrible idea.

these are the only films that genuinely terrified me. i couldn’t sleep in the dark for a year afterwards because i would always imagine crawlers at the edge of my bed. it’s been 13 years and i’ve yet to fully rewatch either film.

I went caving with my scout troop as a kid. I enjoyed it, and it was a safe cave with a tour guide and plenty of emergency measures, but nothing really prepares you for your first experience with real claustrophobia. One of my friends backed out pretty much immediately. I was the smallest guy there, so I attempted a more narrow passage that no one else could fit through, and successfully made it to the other side. Will never forget the feeling of my breath reverberating in my ears in such an enclosed area.
Would probably do it again though, assuming there's no crawlers.

I like to use this movie as an example on how to do strong/fit female characters, correctly. Like wow, especially the scene where she crossed the chasm to plant anchors for the rest of the group.

Watching your channel frequently (Excellent content I might add), I think I realised a main factor what bores me about horror movies.

Most of the characters, If not all die, never getting the chance to psycologically face the aftermath of the terror they lived through, which would be way more impactful than just establish caracters and then kill them off.

Okay, now I need to share a scary cave story that actually happened to me. So, when I was thirteen, my family went on a cruise, and for one of our shore excursion days, we’d booked a guided tour of a cave. Unfortunately, my mom had a really bad headache that day and had to stay on the ship, so it was just me, my dad, my eleven-year-old sister, and of course, our tour guide. The tour was loads of fun, and our guide was telling us all sorts of cool facts about the cave. He mentioned that this particular cave was used as an escape route by people fleeing slavery, and he noted that these people didn’t have lights like we did. They had to make their way through the cave completely in the dark. He—the guide—offered to briefly turn off the lights for us so we could kind of experience what the former slaves went through. We agreed, he turned off our lights, and my sister started screaming in terror. My dad thought she was just panicking because it was dark, so he tried to reassure her, but then he started screaming. I was standing a few feet away from everyone else, with no idea what the fuck was going on, but I couldn’t go over and check, because I couldn’t SEE. The tour guide then turned the lights back on to reveal that he was tickling my dad and sister’s ankles with a stick. My dad says we almost left the cave without our guide that day.
