I'm still rocking a 1080p 240hz monitor and I love it.
ОтветитьBought a brand new 2070 Super when they came out and haven't upgraded since. The only comparable card at the same MSRP is Zotac's Twin Edge 3070 which would only get me a 25% performance increase. Unless I get a lot richer very soon, for me, paying another $500 isn't worth it unless it can double my performance. The 4070ti was interesting at first, but at $800, it's still not quite worth it unless I end up coming into some money that I don't mind spending.
The whole point of an "upgrade as you go" custom PC, for me, was to make keeping up with modern PC performance a piecemeal process that was more affordable than buying a whole-ass new PC every few years. When the GPU upgrade starts to be more expensive than my Series X (which is now outperforming my PC in some games btw), it's a really hard sell.
2070 super.144hz 1440p 32in QHD good enough for me😁
ОтветитьI just recently paired a 2070 super with a 5700x, is that a good combo?
ОтветитьWhich motherboard is the best for 2070 super?
ОтветитьPerfectly said.
ОтветитьBite me I got it for free
ОтветитьI use my 2070 super to game AAA titles with very high settings in 4K at 50 fps with my G sync monitor and it's great!
ОтветитьI bought a NEW 2070 super in 2022. $$600. (February 2022). GPU prices were crazy back then (future reader)
ОтветитьStashing my acorns for a 2070 Super. I've got no reason to go beyond that.
Real test of patience in this market, though 😬
I clicked because I wanna feel good about my 2070 super 😆, it came on my first gaming PC (prebuilt) and is now worth more than the whole PC cost me when I bought it lmao. I'm gonna build my first gaming PC and hopefully get a 3080ti, but only if I can get it at MSRP. If not its kool because my 2070 super handles all games and i love it so much, I don't see myself getting rid of it unless its to hand down to a loved one.
ОтветитьPeople need to remember that, depending on the business type, you cannot just have a business purchase stuff and then use it at home/personal - even if just for tax reasons.
Ответитьyou should do a vid on ur personal pc build
ОтветитьI've had a 2070 Super for a year and a half, loved it. BUT I just purchased a 3070TI..
Ответить3070 is way better
ОтветитьI run a Gigabyte 2070 Super Gaming OC, and I'm more than happy with it. I also have a 32" 1440p 75Hz monitor and a 27" 1080p monitor connected to it. I'm more than happy with how it's performing.
ОтветитьMy son has one of these in his rig R73800X, 32gb, 3tb SSD. Due to shortages and crazy prices for gpu's, we decided to keep it and upgrade his budget 23 " 1080p 60hz monitor to a 24.5" 1080p 240hz monitor as the prices for these are sensible. I think the smoothness and responsiveness of the new monitor alone should be a nice step up until it's worth investing in a new gpu.
ОтветитьI have had the Rtx 2070 Super myself for over 11 months, I have been playing on a 1080p monitor with 75 fps lock, I do not need more, for this screen it is the maximum. That's enough for me, and like I have played a lot of games on the msi afterburner card, there is always a reserve of power, with one exception ... CP2077 this game shows my card with the middle finger. :)
ОтветитьI have a aorus rtx 2070 super the RGB fans look soo cool 😎
Ответить2070 super its like 1080ti its not a downgrade by any means, with rtx and dlss its also a plus for new games
ОтветитьI love the 2070 super it does everything very well
Even with ray tracing the lowest fps i get is 30 which is still fine to me
I just have a regular 2070, should I upgrade?
ОтветитьMy overclocked 2070s windforce 115+ core 1000+ memory runs at stock 2080 super levels so theres that too..
Ответить3060 is slower than 2070 super lmao just hold out for 4070 boys and gals
ОтветитьI have a 980 ti and I wanna upgrade to a 2070 instead of 30 series. Even those are hard to get.
ОтветитьAbout to buy a tower legion 7i with 2070 super, or $400 more for 3070. Should I get the 3070??? All other specs see the same.
ОтветитьStaying with my 2070 super until I can buy next gen graphics card that is in stock and at MSRP or lower
ОтветитьPretty much similar specs as mine. 2070s + 3440x1440 at 100hz. It's not perfect but just what I need.
ОтветитьI have been looking ALOT into the 3080,70,60's... etc. And I use a 2060 overclocked to 2070 Super speeds (dunno if I got lucky with that). And so I really like this video you did. Because in the back of my mind I just do not see upgrading before a new card can double the performance of 2070 Super speeds. Now if a card can double 2070 Super speeds/FPS rates at an Overclock then I would consider strongly upgrading. Also love Tech and Rogue's thought processes, they are very grounded and logical. They are saving us all money and frustration by helping us figure out the "GPU math" that most won't explain to you. Thanks
ОтветитьI love my 2070 Super :) got it in Jan 2020 and don't see myself upgrading for at least 3-5 years. I'm also keeping my i9 9900k for 3-5 years too
Ответитьplease use this card and 3600 vs 5600x
ОтветитьWent around town hunting for a 2070 super, got one for about $500.
Ответитьi have a 2070 super now but fps on an ultrawide with it are ehhh
Ответить"why not 2080ti?"
answer: "it's not necessary"
nailed it
Hi there, would u recommend I buy rx 5700xt or rtx 2070 super for an extra 40 pounds (I will mostly play Microsoft flight sim 2020, fifa, f1 2020, Apex, world of tanks/worships) also bare in mind that 5700 xt new drivers make it faster than rtx 2070 super in a few games like f1 2020 but is slower at flight sim
ОтветитьSad this video wasn't 7 minutes. Ngl... i really enjoy listening to you rant 😌
ОтветитьMy 2070 super is underperforming for some reason I don’t know why
ОтветитьRocking a 960 here if there's wrong with a 2070... Im ashamed 😥
ОтветитьIn the process of selling my 2070S right now. It’s a great card. It’s just the used market is silly right now.
ОтветитьI am using my 1060 3GB to play at 1440p and it still gives 70-80fps on destiny 2. I'm happy lol.
ОтветитьI bought a Gigabyte OC Windforce 2070 super for $500 on Black Friday 2019, and I plan on keeping it for a few more years.
ОтветитьYeah...I am definitely a 4K snob lol. I got bit by the 4K bug when I got a 4K 60Hz monitor after trying 1080p 144Hz. Though I did like the crisp visuals I miss my 144Hz more. So I went 1440p 144Hz. Rode with that for a few years while 4K got cheaper. Now I have an Acer Predator 4K 144Hz and will be getting one of the beefy cards soon enough. It's nice because I can't still render at 1440p or use resolution scalping if I need to for better fps but I hope over the next few generations that 4K will become much more achievable and accessible.
Ответить2070 super is good card right now, great speed. But that 8gb vram will hold it back in the coming year
ОтветитьSounds more like laziness/not wanting to tear apart the personal PC than anything else, honestly. Why wouldn't you put something better in your machine if you have the ability and it costs nothing?
ОтветитьYeah, keeping my 2070S for a little bit longer
ОтветитьBro I want a 2070 super but they sold out everywhere Do you think they gonna be back in stock??
ОтветитьBought Ryzen 5 3600 and 2070 Super in February for new pc build, its the sweet spot.
ОтветитьI want to upgrade from my 1060 3gb and is the 2070 super still worth it? I might try and get it used off ebay
ОтветитьMy 2070s started acting weird, the fans went from like 1800 rpm to 4200 rpm for a couple of seconds and then after another 3-5 minute it would rev those fans up again feeling like it was going to take off with my case. I returned it since it was still in warranty and I am still waiting for it...sent it on the 12th of October and no news yet about it. It was the Aorus rtx 2070 super if anyone's curios.
And yes I did try, removing the panels from my case, adding a room fan on top to cool it and give it more air, reinstalling bios, windows, video drivers etc...nothing worked.
