Very weak movie. Don't waste your time.

"Fake Fur" is a more fitting title. The longer you watch the worst this movie gets.

40 minutes of wasted time into this, and I've had enough. Quite possibly the absolute worst movie I've ever seen.

20 minutes in an this is literally the worst script I've ever tried to enjoy. Just a terrible story line only to be trumped by the worst acting ever. Seventeen trappers killed by Indians and the Captains grandson is missing so he sends one guy, the cook, to find him. Sounds like a great plan since the indians easily killed 17 guys ?!?! He tells his wife, who I think is an AI robot from Westworld, who speaks in one word replies and appears to be simply indignant with his every breath. This gets better because he goes to see a Tarrot card reading half Indian with the same bad attitude as his wife and a full face of makeup like she's going to the prom afterwards ?!?! While on the trail he hooks up with a guy who wants to go with him to get killed as well because he's being picked on at the base camp. At 25 minutes in simply trying to end the pain by deleting this from my memory.

Long boring and unbelievable and I'm not watching to the end of boring.

I know it's picayune but the wardrobes are too new, too pretty. Real western was dusty, muddy and sun bleached. Great movie otherwise..

When your 1st thought is for the pelts (aka profits) you really shouldn't refer to others as savages.

I am really surprise at the scene when 2 Buckskin Indians and 2 soldiers met and talk about the "Black Ops" and "Cover up" that will be done. Local American Indian(Red Skins) tribes are obliged to give "Snake Money or Grease oil " just to make sure when Forensics (G.I'S)do the investigation everything will point to another Red Skin Tribe!!! This movie show's How Evil people do things just to make history a Comics story or a Manga script.

I wonder why the writers wrote the Captains personally was such a dick in the first scene and such a puss in the second. And how did he, the boy, become the grandson when in the beginning he was the son. Good movie, just some difficulty with making sense of the beginning.

For me, it seems like a Western film noir because the Native said we don't own the land, and it was like the forest getting revenge for all of the animals that were killed and all the men killed fighting over all the animals getting killed, it all leads to everyone being killed. and so here is our world, now, currently, killing everyone off the planet, and you wonder what in the heck are people thinking to massacre continuously, we have turned our world into a film noir and we can't get out of the trap.

Honestly I do not resonate with dis movie, too many short cuts... very shallow and unrealistic!

All these people saying this is a great movie most likely haven't seen many movies.
The dialog and acting is horrible. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Like watching paint dry. I had to shut it down after 20 minutes.

3.5 rated movie so badly put together..

This one hooked me in pretty fast with it's solid acting, a very interesting central character, and a fascinating story that compels you to keep watching. I love a good period piece and this one is worth the time.

The staff don't understand what period correct means

it's going to be so dope when they start depicting the real Indians the original Indians aka the black Americans in their full Glory hundreds of years ago... Thousands of years ago if they dare! that's going to be dope cinematically alone! when that FROM AFRICA lie is lifted. Guess the glare from shine is so bright they got to keep it ALL A secret.
