The delicate fretwork on the top of the greenhouse is just the "icing" on the top to your creation. A wonderful decorative touch.

My husband, who had never made a gingerbread house before, followed your directions, made this incredible greenhouse, created poinsettia plants for the inside together with the tree and added small twinkle lights for a charity event, He received the highest number of bids and it sold for almost $600.00 You did a superb job of breaking the tasks down and giving detailed directions. This is stunning!! Beautiful job. Thank you for sharing the template and recipe. I actually made this house from your template. It's not a pretty as yours, but my boss let me bring it into work and display it. I get a lot of nice complements. I added 2 Christmas trees in the front and put lights on them. I put a little garden box on the back of the house. For the plants on the inside, I did "cheat" and bought fake mini plants off Amazon. HAHAH AFor the "brick" work. I did sunflower seeds( I don't know how to send you a photo. I'd love to show you ) Thank you! Merry Christmas!!
