Which drivers do you think could be replaced before the 2024 season is finished?
ОтветитьStroll.
ОтветитьWhat are your views on Bottas and Zhou, in this context?
ОтветитьEach drivers ideal scenario:
Sainz to Mercedes
Antonelli to Williams
Bottas to Alpine
Ocon to Sauber/ Audi
Bearman & KMag to Haas
Lawson to VCARB
Sargeant to Prema in IndyCar
Zhou to Formula E
Ricciardo no clue but don’t see him staying at RB over Lawson.
Personally don’t think Bearman & Kimi are ready for F1, they should be kept on in F2 for another year in different teams, maybe Kimi to ART & Ollie to Hitech.
perez’s contract is a 1 + 1 not a straightforward 2 year
ОтветитьIs Perez's money enough to keep his Red Bull seat until 2026? If they lose the constructors this year or next year, it will be an issue
ОтветитьYou leave Checo alone, you hear me? He made up FOUR places yesterday (more than any other driver), earning the team (which has saddled him with a 3-place grid penalty in Montreal, sacrificed him in Q3 and, for good measure, put him on a 3-stop strategy for the race) valuable championship points, making RBR the net winners yesterday... compare that to Mumtalakat Racing's sunny boy who botched the start like a rookie (again), allowing Max and Red Bull to increase their lead and yet he was awarded "Driver of the Day". 🤣
With Flavio back at the helm? I wouldn't be too surprised if Esteban remains with the team and Bruno will be shown the door instead. Ocon is a driver very much to Briatore's liking and if anyone is able to handle Esteban, it's Flavio. 😉
Logan Sargent has a guardian angel (nicer term for "billionair uncle") watching over his F1 career, he will be fine. It's a sad fact of F1 life that some teams love them a "pay driver" in one of their cars... why we, the fans, have to suffer the likes of Marzipan, Sir Lancelot, Joe Gung-Ho or Logan Sargent.
I love Checo as a driver and as a person but seriously put Piastri or Albon or Tsunoda in that Redbull seat and you are assured of a better supporting driver to Max than his current performance?! Not to mention that the likes of Albon would improve the constructor points gained 100%
ОтветитьOcon will not be in F1 in the next two years (if not earlier) so the reasons for keeping on are very slim indeed, as an F1 fan for over twenty years I can say that Ocon's name and/or his brand in the sport has never actually registered with me at all (I forgot he was actually racing driver) and considering Stroll is talked about as a loser and still has more focus than him and that is saying a lot! why not punt him for a new younger untested driver to get some press and attention?
ОтветитьIn defense of Logan Sargeant. I know he has never outqualified his teammate Albon, but he outqualified Perez 6 times. ;-)
Ответитьhonestly wouldn't be shocked if red bull put Checo down in Vcarb and mabey put yuki in the redbull and drop dani for liam
ОтветитьI love Checo, but RBR should seriously do as you suggest: Bench him, or swap him for DR - as Horner intended always - in the other team.
Benching's probably best, to bring Liam in.
Or... laterally put Checo in another Red Bull racing project. That would be nice.
The tired underachieving journeymen in F1 who need the order of the boot are: Ocon, Stroll, Sargeant ,Ricciardo, Perez , Magnussen & Zhou
ОтветитьWhile Perez is terrible at the moment it could be he's driving just like he always has but the car is just not that good & Max is u could say is the current Avatar.
ОтветитьThe 2025 GRID mixup that would make sense or how everything should have went:
Red Bull - Verstappen & Sainz
Ferrari - Leclerc & Hamilton
Mercedes - Russell & Schumacher
Aston Martin - Tsunoda & Alonso
McLaren - Norris & Piastri
Racing Bulls - Lawson & Doohan
SauberAUDI - Bottas & Hulkenburg
Alpine sells to Andretti
Haas - Bearman & Pouchaire
Williams - Drugovich & Albon
