Hi there, I am in problem with decider combinator. As I put condition that if sulfuric acid is less than 5k then only pump works. but in my condition it works reverse, there is more then 5k sulfuric acid in storage tank, pump is still on. and if I set condition to, if sulfuric acid is more than 5k it stops. what to do.

Came back to the game, sometimes you just need some conveyor belts in your life... Trying to get the achievment for beating in 15 hours LOL, got it down to 50 hours....

Hey KoS, I've watched your videos for a long time and they have helped me alot with learning about factorio. I heard that you suffer from migraines 24/7 and I was actually in the same boat for about 10 years. It ended up being TMD causing my intractable migraines. On my first day of playing factorio I saw the solar panels and I was like that’s my goal cause I was still a noob and was feeding coal to make power. I didn’t even know I had the electric miner on me I thought it was another water pump cause it color. Haha

hello Katherine, I'm a lurker on your channel and am watching this playthrough to learn some techniques and ratios, question for you if you see this a year after you made the video, but you said the offshore pump can supply 20 boilers, I thought they could only do ten. could you confirm this for me in a reply please. Me again I figured out my mistake each boiler hold 200 but only consumes 60. even with this mistake I was making the wrong calculation.....just so you know I figured it out.

This game is a black hole. You have been warned. I have more hours in this game than all my other Steam games put together. I have put some 2k hours into this game since I bought it years ago. Every time I start playing I end up spending WAY too much free time. It's almost unhealthy. If you have problems with addiction I would say stay away from this game :P.

where is the map code?

In case you don't know, you can mine a coal patch with your hand tool, if you're already there and want to kick start the machine you can just manually pick up 1 piece of coal from the patch, no need to go find a tree or a coal rock there.

I always hated the early-game, but the one part I like about early Factorio is all the burner stuff. Idk if anyone has made a mod like this, but I always wanted there to be a burner version of everything. Burner assemblers, high-speed burner inserters, burner labs, burner lights, etc. I think it would be a fun challenge to make a totally steampunk ultra-pollution megabase with coal EVERYWHERE.

I'm so bad at this game, I guess I would fail miserably in engineering school. It's the first time now that I feel like I'm going somewhere with this. I'd also like to learn how to mine automatically the resources, my friend did a setup using coal which goes around the base and fuels every other drill machines... it seemed very pollutant and wasteful, but it worked, however you skipped that entirely and started tapping on steam power earlier than he did. Seems a lot more efficient, though.

Question... have you gotten something like a Microsoft Strategic Commander for your left hand? WASD has always annoyed me, so this replaces the WASD with literally moving your left hand in the direction you want to move.

Even if you are not into Factorio, its so nice to listen to KOS voice and humour☺

Not really a how to when you don't explain how or why you do,what you are doing. One example. What does everything so and how does it serve a purpose.

I'm not new here, but I did not know you too suffered from chronic migraines.
I've had them for 22 years now.

Factorio was my go-to game back when I was streaming a few years ago, just because you control the flow of both the game and time yourself, and it is challenging while still not having much of a competitive component.

I have found it is the perfect game for those of us who can't really concentrate that much, find it hard to focus unless we ultra-focus and need something you can dip in and out of without losing anything.

So today I got back into it after about 2 years of hiatus. Of course, starting with some KOS vids to get back into the mindset.

I have 53 hours in this game i always start new games so i can start things differently but this video really help me get the hang of everything especially in the start when i always have trouble hence why i restart a lot
