I've found using a vacuum pump and a ¼" hose helps with aluminum repairs. The oil residue is what makes it more difficult. Pulling a light vacuum helps to draw it in after cleaning the oil on the outside and inside, using a nitrogen purge. About 100-125 psi purge. Faster flow goes right over the oil and doesn't pull it out as well. Just my experience with aluminum coils, joints and repairs. Heck, I've even in an emergency repaired aluminum pilot tubing for boilers and RTU'S, especially the Yorks with those aluminum pilot tubing and the one that runs down towards the burner with the orifice and small opening that light the pilot. York Sunlines is what I'm talking about.

I had one like that in a nasty crawl space full of water and mud. Took me 6 tries to get it about drove me crazy but it was hot as hell outside coil was under warranty but a couple weeks out. I finally got it but was back in a couple weeks pulling it out which was even worse because installers put the coil about 16” away from a beam so it was hard as hell to get out lol gotta love it.

My guy, I don’t even do hvac at all but I enjoy the videos! I learned a lot about all of the different cooling and heating methods from your videos. A lot of good info and just a good watch and you’re built like a brick house 😂 moving to many fan motors on your own lol
