ntroducing the new and improved Detect-A-Finger Gen II safeguarding device to help protect the operator’s fingers from pinch-point hazards. If a finger or workpiece is in the way of the probe and the probe is not allowed to complete its downward travel, the machine will not start a cycle or stroke. For Safeguarding Riveters, Eyeletters, Stakers, Staplers, Crimpers, Fastening and Assembly Machines.

Gen II upgrades include longer stroke 1.85", unified right- and left-handed operation, a pre-punched enclosure to achieve faster electrical connections, and a softer probe rod for accurate template development. 

Gen II design will drive cost and time savings by significantly reducing injuries and will meet compliance requirements for a Category 2 Device, reducing the potential for operator bypassing their guarding.
