As someone who listens to every type of music I see this as an absolute win

What about folk/pseudo-folk? My favourite playlist is a bunch of songs you could potentially hear on a fantasy adventure. Dulaman, the Misty Mountains, Sa Rider Jag Mig, Rolandskavedet, etc.

I don’t think it’s right to put rock and metal together. I am very into classic rock which is nowhere close as to heavy metal (Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones) which sounds like a whole another genre.

I like pretty much all of these equally except for Dance 😅 my playlists are all over the place.

Related to music, but not personality, while liking classical music is positively correlated with intelligence, liking big band music is even MORE correlated with intelligence. On the other hand, liking rap (I won't dignify it with the term "music") is INVERSELY correlated with intelligence, i.e., the dumber you are, the more you like rap. I suspected this already, but it was nice to get confirmation.

You can't group rock and heavy metal together. There are too many subgenres that are wildly different from one another. Also, as a 60's hard rock fan, I can't stand heavy metal

My musical taste transcends other genres, basically I like music with zero vocals in them (with very few exceptions).
So my top three genres with that in mind are most any electronic music, Movie OSTs and Classical music.

I can listen and like almost all genres mentioned. However my favorite would have to heavy metal/rock and the traits given for that genre pretty well describe me.
