Alcohol in pregnancy - What is a safe amount to drink?

The answer is obviously no. The fact that people even need to look this up is baffling. Alcohol is literally pure toxin.

Once you see the damage done a child whose mother drank alcohol during pregnancy you will be appalled. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOUR CHILD. Plus you will have to raise your child until it can take responsibility for itself ------ if it ever can.

Is this the case if the mother drank (accidently!) before the formation of the placenta?
