Wanted to give a huge thanks to Ben James, John Biank, Robert Dale Smith and the rest of you who reached out and told me your Net Yaroze Story. If you worked on the Net Yaroze, let me know in the comments or send me an email. Id love to hear your story. Enjoy the video !
ОтветитьI'm still waiting for Indie Developers to make some amazing games for PS1. I feel like the Sega Genesis and Neo Geo have been getting a lot of love, but I haven't really heard about people making new games for PS1
ОтветитьIf something like this existed today for around a thousand bucks I would already have two
ОтветитьColony wars was my favourite ps1 game
ОтветитьSony did a 180 with how they handle their game console software and hardware.
ОтветитьI always remember seeing the advert for it in the back of the PlayStation magazine and playing the games on the demo disc always wanted to get one
ОтветитьSuddenly one day I woke up thinking about phrase Net Yaroze, came to this video and the a bunch of memories have been unblocked.
ОтветитьOh my god i remember playing terra incognita and blitter boy demos when i was a kid, had no idea they were indie games from this dev kit
ОтветитьWow! Mind blowing 😎🎉 awesome ! Hope to see the future part of ps vita escene. Thank you so much! Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽🇲🇽
ОтветитьI had one of these in the uk!
ОтветитьDamn I didn't know Net Yaroze had demos back in 1987 !!! I was 10 years old. That's crazy. I could of been coding for Sony when I was still playing NES.
ОтветитьI wish I was alive back in the day where they posted source code in papers. Like what? That's awesome!
Ответитьomg I when I was really young I played timeslip without knowing all the story behind it, thanks!
ОтветитьI remember the Net Yaroze and Blitter Boy. Really wanted one back in the day but it was probably good I couldn’t afford it haha.
ОтветитьGravitation was one of the games from the ps magazine yaroze demo that i spent many hours playing.
ОтветитьOnly one word: CLONE.
ОтветитьDon't just throw the psx startup screen like that without notice like that...
ОтветитьLove watching this video and reliving those times again I grew up in the 90's seen the price back then and was blown away Lol truly a big fan of the Sony PlayStation DTL-H3000 Net Yaroze console always wanted to play around with one, love retro games so much Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьNo wonder the N64 and GameCube didn’t have deep catalogs of great games. Sony seems like they were formidable in many ways, including building their ecosystem of developers.
ОтветитьNowadays we have Game Builder Garage and i know: most people have never even heard of it, but if you own a Nintendo Switch you can just get the game for a cheap price compared to the Ebay price of a complete Net Yaroze Indie Dev Kit!
I just want someone to remake The Incredible Coneman with it.
how tf you fit this in 2mb
ОтветитьThat's interesting. I actually saw someone open the box for the first time many years ago. I had no idea what it was at first. I think he showed up on the list you showed as St.Helens College. It does look damn cool!
ОтветитьThe sight of those PlayStation Magazine demo discs takes me straight to my childhood. Some real gems from that time. I remember playing the demo of Vib Ribbon and desperately trying to find such a niche game in the store. Would never have bought it if it were just for the good review in the magazine. A bygone era
Ответитьسلام عليكم اريدآ واحد بلي ستيشن ١ اسود
Ответитьany PS1 game better than any indie crap PC game
ОтветитьI had one of these, and I built nothing on it. What a waste!
ОтветитьShoot some heroin every time MVG says "Net Yaroze"
ОтветитьSure wish I knew about this thing back in the day!
ОтветитьHad no idea this existed.
ОтветитьPlayStation in late 1987?
ОтветитьTHE DARK PS LOOKS SO GOOD ASHDHEHE
ОтветитьHeh, I have one of thsoe Dell monitors on my desk for my Mister.
Terra Incognita I remember, not all that fun but an impressive showing none the less. Adventure was another one, didn't get far into it but interesting none the less.
One of the more ingenious things Sony came up with in the PSX lifespan
ОтветитьThe PS1 but in dark mode.
ОтветитьPlaystation: The best startup sound of ANY console EVER.
ОтветитьТы хоть одну хорошую игру, созданную, так называемыми "разработчиками", покажи! Не можешь, потому что их нет, все что создали эти "разработчики", блевотина редкостная.
ОтветитьI need a net Yaroze cable to connect my pc to my console.
ОтветитьWhat’s that intro instrumental called? And what game is it from?
Ответитьanother great video love all your content
ОтветитьChills the moment the PS boot sound played....
