what I didn't quite understand yet is what this tags in quotes in the "urls" file are for.
Since this tags don't get displayed in newsboat, I'm wondering if these are just for looking up things in the "urls" file itself...

btw you don't have to make searching for a YT-channel id that complicated. If you click on the channel / are on the site of a channel,
the id is the last entity in the url. You can just copy from there.

Is it possible to use notify-send within a cron job? If so, how did you accomplish that?

Anyways if you have Newpipe from F-Droid and share the cannel you can add it to an RSS reader or to clipboard by sharing it.

If you have a non-botnet reader on the phone you can also export it to OPML and then import it on whatever supports it.

I've been running i3 on my arch system for a few years now. I'm interested in switching to i3-gaps, but I'm not sure what's involved in the transition. If I install i3-gaps from the AUR, will my current i3 configuration be preserved? Do I need to uninstall my current i3 first? I've been searching for resources but haven't come across anything.
