i dare you to transition to a sustainable materials maker, so woods, glass, metals, clay, etc but no plastics/synthetics due to their amiguous existential-water-contamination

btw when he talks about 3d navigation in the beginning those shortcuts are for solidworks you can change it in the general preferences section

So a few of the names of things have changed a little but not enough to render this tutorial inaccurate, many thanks Angus :)

This video was made 3 years ago. Is it still up to date with the program?

Hi! First of all, very good tutorial. Thanks! If someone (like me) just downloaded the new autodesk fusion 360 for personal use, you will notice that it doesn't include a save as STL option but save as mesh and the STL / binary option is in that submenu.

Awesome tutorial. I'm pretty good in SketchUp, but since watching several of your videos on Fusion360, I can see how much more powerful it is than SketchUp. Thanks, Angus. You have inspired me to get into 3D printing. I'm a hobbiest and I love making things myself. There is no better satisfaction than taking an idea or image from my head and turning it into a physical object. But art and woodworking can only go so far, I think 3d printing is going to open up soo many new doors for me. Keep making these great videos and I'll keep watching!

Tried different softwares, Auto Cad, Creo, Sketch up. Want to try 3d printing too, and fusion 360 is the most recommended 3d modeling software to go. Leaving a comment here to feed the algorithm. Thanks man.

Thank you for the information. At the bottom of the 360 window there are a row of 8 buttons. Mine almost always at some point disappear at some point. Therefore, I now cannot select the Orbit tool for example, and there no keyboard short cut that I can see. Please advise: what am I doing? Why do these buttons keep going away?

This is one of the best newbie how to videos I've found! Followed along step by step and gained an understanding along with some practical experience. Nicely done!!
