Why you can't change state directly in React?

So if we use bad way of updating state and instead of using PureComponent use normal component by implementing shouldComponentUpdate on our own and doing deep comparison of objects then re-renders should happen right?

Hey Juri why don't you make a course on redux, react, and maybe real life examples of work you do day to day ...best practices .. and basically everything you know and you know to have value and add it into a course.. on udemy or any other platform of choice.. that would be great. I know you have a course in Russian already.. but I don't understand a word yet :D I should learn the language first lol.
