The Outer Worlds Character Creation! Female + Male Characters!

I didn't like the gunplay from what I've seen so far I hope you make a video about it in the upcoming days (not necessarily focus on it just include it in the review) because it bothers me a lot and may make me postpone buying the game...Thanks.

Really been looking forward to this! I feel like it's a semi-sleeper, but for fans of New Vegas, we know the quality of rpg writing Obsidian can bring to the table.

I am calling it right here, The Outer World's is going to blow Starfield out of the cosmos. Obsidian knows how to make great games. I very much look forward to this games release.

You can make some really cute guys with the cc here and you chose the cutest one, well done :D
And then you never see him again lol (yeah yeah, menus and stuff, so silly). The hair in particular impressed me. At least hair styles, since color seems to be black only and you select color highlight not "hair color", but maybe I'm missing something.
And not voiced, because "immersion bla" or "easier immersion where you rp your voice bla" or other nonsense like that. Translation: cheaper for the devs, but pr talk is of course the way to go and no shortage of appologists or worse ;)
And no romance. Yeah... no.


For me those 3 things alone would be problematic, but all 3 combined make me wait with a potential buy. The overt emphasis on "da funny" I've seen in all devs interviews is also a bit of a "meh". Look, I get it. It'll be hysterical. Chill already.


Ultimately I really want to see some longer gameplay to get a feel of the questing and rpg mechanics. If that'll be amazing, then oh well, I'll survive the horror of a mute and invisible protagonist... or rather the "I see the game world thru a window, wow the immersion much amazing very meh" shtick.

Thanks for this. I like that it's no frills, just the deets. Now of course the question is how often do you actually see your character? Seems like a lot of options just for menu dressing

The faces are k but needs longer hair. The one you chose for the female is good but if that's all, I hope modders make longer hair and add bodysliders in.

I've been waiting for the Outer Worlds to come out since it's first trailer and I'm so excited!!! I'm heading to BestBuy to purchase it today!

Is kind of pointless if you wont see your character during the game

Only complain I got is the lack of first person body or at least feet when you look down. Had this feeling I'm playing a floating camera with arms.

why you can't see the lower body of your character when you move the camera down? looks stupid when you are able to see your arms all the time but when you look on the floor you see nothing of your lower body

Lovely! Bioware could learn a few things from this character creator, there are nice female hairstyles & beautiful presets. Unlike anything that isn't modded for Dragon Age: Inquisition

Very nice, I like how the characters have a soft aspect to them not unlike fallout 4 or borderlands

The Outer Worlds has a really good Character Editor... easy but good :) The Characters looks also good (not like in Mass Effect Andromeda...)

I was so hyped for this game but it just feels like a shitty skyrim or Fo4 in space honestly, melee combat is terrible. Shooting feels horrible and also like your not making much impact on your enemies, like it doesn't feel like your shooting them, no dismembement or gore. Cool character customization but you can't see you character except for the player menu😂👌 so collecting any cool armor is pointless you'll never see it 👌and you'll never see your characters face you spent ages making. A couple of cool interesting areas but it all feels extreamly empty, and it's boring asf running on foot across the map to get to a quest, it's space why arnt there like flying bikes or somthing 👐 takes to long and what you have to look at isn't great Eva, the companion system seems decent through, and it has some good rpg elements in terms of dialogue, at times its quite funny and dark aswell. Stats and perk system I don't really like it I honestly perferd fallout 4s one. I'm confused to why this is getting bigged up so much by reviewers? It feels like over exaggeration I got it for free and I don't want to play it. Each and to there own and if you enjoy the game that's great though 🙂
