What's new in Adobe Premiere Pro 2023?

Seem most updated features are all about the text 🙂 I wish the Adobe team improve their colors work section close to DaVinci. Thanks for the video, Gal.

I've kicked Adobe from my life in 2019 and was wondering WHAT is NEW after 4 years of development. All I see it inner/outer stroke in TITLEr??? what about speed improvements, stability, bugs, and some modern features?

I use Adobe CC - but the recent Premiere Pro 2023 doesn't have an active link to edit audio in Audition (also 2023).
I have seen different forums and tried what was suggested, but nothing seems to work for me.
Did you face a similar issue at all? Can you help?

Thanks a lot for this great teaching. Please now that we don't have Legacy tittle anymore in Premiere Pro, how do I do something related to what legacy tittle will offer? thanks.

FWIW - I just updated to v23.4 and it crashes on launch. So went back to v23.3 and so far that version is working. At least Adobe makes it fairly easy to go back to the previous version.

In legacy title, we could easily stroke the outline of a png image. Its gone now.

Any one who know it you can add key frames for mogrts? All mogrts i have tested cant handle key frames anymore now on 2023. So you cant have keyframes for properties for the mogrt.

Great video. Thanks. However, The Essential Graphics still miss some features from the Adobe Title like Fill Type => Texture, also Linear Gradient => Repeat, Slang and some other stuff. So I still use The Tile from time to time, but unfortunately Titles can't be imported in Adobe After Effects, so I really want to fully migrate to Essential Graphics but can't currently.

Thank you for this video. I am on Adobe Creative Cloud subscription and am wondering why my Premiere Pro 2022 did not update automatically to Premiere Pro 2023. I was editing a video and midway the program froze, prompting me to close the program. Once I restarted my computer and launch the working file, Premiere Pro flashed a message that the file I am working on is in the older version (PP2022) and I need to change it to PP 2023 format. I was surprised because this doesn't happen with Photoshop, it just updates to the new version every year without telling me my files were created in the old version. I checked my program files and there is Adobe Premiere Pro 2022 and 2023 in it and all my paid luts from 2022 is not in 2023. Is this common that Premiere Pro doesn't update the 2022 to 2023 but instead pops up in the C drive under Program Files as a new version and I have to reinstall all my paid luts and etc every year? hope to hear your kind reply.

Checked these miniscule updates and realized there is no need to get back to Premiere.

Yes that transitions and animation for captions is a good idea! It'd be best incorporated to the speech to text for pillar content videos :)

why premiere not add ability to add film impact transition to multi text in one layer . when we have many title in overlay and want to add film impact transiion to seprate titles . here is problem

I would love motion tracking and motion blur to be added in Premiere. I have to go AE just for doing that.

What do I think?

I think Adobe keeps up the great tradition of mostly pushing for new shiny toys and bells and whistles, which are great for marketing campaigns and board meetings.

Unfortunately, this means – like always – that a ton of flaws in pretty basic usabilty scenarios, as pointed out by many "User Voice" hints and requests, once again kept being unaddressed.

Using the upgrade 2023 now 3 weeks and the new things are indeed there, but... the interface on bins, files, mediamanager, windows, etc. goes really wild. and it creates errors in the workflow. Done the downgrade to the previous version now to continue my work.
