Oh my...this is like an HOA on steroids. And kids aren’t allowed to go ride their bike to their friends’s house even though it’s a gated and secure community? The only reason I would want to live in a community like this would be the ability to let my kids run around and play with other kids without worrying about them getting kidnapped or run over.

i see it as a lexury big jail.

The rich has gate to keep uninvited people out but they support open border I don’t understand please explain

To each his own. Money gives us options. I wouldn't mind living there. It beats having to be calling the police on noisy neighbors. Everyone is free to do inside their homes as they please. Outside your home, rules are to be followed.

We live in an age where people are scorned for wanting to be safe from dangerous criminals and shutting out sociopaths from their past and present.
The media assists worthless politicians who create the environment where people are desperate and disillusioned. And then shame those who refuse to fall victim to it.

Acting as though these people literally steal the food from those outside the community walls. They're not the ones who decreed that land must be bought or that your best bet is getting some sh*y job. They didn't pass any. "Pay to exist" Laws.
Yet. These are just individuals with reasonably well paying jobs, retirements or successful small businesses.

These people whining about this, reduce humanity. With the mindset of an insect bashing against a bug screen, trying to get in just to annoy people and soil the place.

They seem to believe that two wrongs make a right, yet all it does it make some people feel better in a spiteful kind of way, when they have people who strived to remove themselves from that situation now back in it.
They also don't use that feeling of having obtained revenged, to achieve anything.

I have way more money than any of these people, and you would never find me, or any of my associates living in such a place. These people aren't wealthy, this is middle class at best.

I think this is a repulsive way to live. Meanwhile there are 25 million homeless people in the US while you are sat by the pool. How lovely for the spirit!

I rather live average, than have an ugly husband or pple envy me. I think its a sin to live in such a house.😢😮😇

Gated communities allow wealthy white folk to avoid having to interact with non-white folks. I prefer a neighborhood with a full range of diversity.

My paradise will be when I leave this life. I am just as happy living a regular down to earth kind of day.. living without all the luxury's A simple outting one evening is nice but my family and friends are the most important to me. Not luxury's.

This house is NOT THAT IMPRESSIVE

I hate the isolation of suburban life. I love living in a nice city with everything nearby. Rather than spending money on a mansion in a gated community, I'd prefer a 2 bedroom apartment in a city like Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, or Stockholm. I don't want to be car dependent at all.

I remember many years ago early 2000’s in the gated community that they just showed in las Vegas-of Mac Dowell Highlands a wealthy John was killed by a prostitute and her pimp all because he wanted her to leave that lifestyle and get her life together- but instead during one of their escapades she discovered he had a safe full of money- and instead of minding her own- she went back and told her pimp and they plotted and planned to rob him- and instead they ended up killing him- I guess security at Mac Dowell Highlanda wasn’t as good as it is now- but just go s to show crime can still happen1 because it’s the person who brings a poor element into the community

More and more these communities are appearing across the globe. Uhhh, not sure about that. Certainly not in Europe. This is a uniquely American thing, and maybe South African. Yep, ghettos for the rich.

I have friends with lots of cash, they have thier own companies and they invite me to their parties. They always have the best food, wine etc. However they are bored people and they lack of culture, their conversations are just about money. I like art, archaeology, music, books, ancient civilizations, esoterism etc. I rather to hang out with the middle class.
