Not gonna lie, I was waiting for the hairdryer moment!
ОтветитьWelcome to Japan! ❤ I live near Yokohama. I hope to meet you when you come Tokyo.
I’m colorist and art director.
Hahaha! I have been on those contracts by myself and survived!
20 years here 😅
All the best and hope to see you in Osaka-Kyoto!
Ngl, I think guys are more pumped than women overall to be in Japan. I do love it here (I also live here alone , been here a couple of decades, yes decades, not always alone , you sound like you’re living your best life, fantastic apartment, by the way.
ОтветитьI enjoyed this video so much! Sure it's quite hard to find an apartment here as a non-Japanese🤔 Congrats on setting up your place and settling in anyways🎉 Btw your kitchen looks kinda spacious as an apartment for a single person tho lol
ОтветитьGreat looking apartment Joe and awesome TV setup.
ОтветитьI’m new to your channel and can’t wait for the next video
ОтветитьHappy for you! Wish I could do the same! But where is Ellie though? Did I miss anything? 😬
Ответитьconfrats on your move. I was wondering how you got to move there? like what type of visa are u on?
ОтветитьBritish man discovers Muji 😅
I know Muji is found in the UK but Japanese Muji hits different, more products and the fooooooooooooooood section is also so good!
Also it would be interesting to hear how much you spent on all the products.
Welcome to Japan🎉
ОтветитьLiving the dream, congratulations on everything, man ✨
ОтветитьNice! Welcome to Ōsaka. I knew I saw you around Ōsaka station capturing some golden hour light haha
Hopefully I bump into you some time
congrats on moving to japan!!
Ответить日本へようこそ!楽しい生活になるよう祈ってます。
ОтветитьIt looks amazing! Enjoy your life in Japan! Looking forward to your next videos.😊😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьGoogle translate has a photo option. Quckest way to translate👍
ОтветитьIm about to go through this exact Journey when I move there in a couple months. Love the information mate! Great video 👍🏼
ОтветитьWelcome to the Buture!
ОтветитьSo how are you solving the visa problem?
ОтветитьMoving to Saitama next week from scratch as well! I love the Zinus mattress too!
ОтветитьThis is the first video I see of you on YT. It's really interesting to see someone's experience of moving to Japan as an adult, also realizing you don't speak the language that much! Brave! And as it has always been my dream, l really enjoyed your video and I hope it all goes really well for you. Lovely apartment btw.
ОтветитьNever thought how big a pain it would be to move somewhere like that. Glad I will never have too.
ОтветитьTwo 15 second commercials to start is obnoxious
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this. I would love to live in Japan. One cooking thing I suggest you invest in - and they are not that expensive, especially in Japan, is a Donabe: clay cooking pot. They are fantastic, can be used on the gas hob, are great for so many types of soups, and hot pot dishes. They are a bit of old Japan for your modern space. Congratulations on building your cozy nest!
ОтветитьI wondered if you considered an induction cooktop instead of gas? There are a good many reasons, in my opinion, for choosing induction.
ОтветитьThis next chapter of the channel is going to be absolutely amazing
Ответитьcongrats on the move!! fellow creator here (just started 3 weeks ago) rooting for you in japan. cheers to new beginnings
ОтветитьHi Joe, Loving this video. I'm using MaruMori to learn Japanese right now. It teaches kanji, vocabulary and grammar all at the same time. It could be a useful resource to get your Japanese up if you like online tools/self-study.
ОтветитьLove the way you decorated the apartment, looks amazing and I wish I could achieve a similar look myself! Also for your gaming itch, the Switch 2 is rumored to be released soon, so you could also get that for hand held gaming when it comes out.
ОтветитьAs someone who has just been put in a situation where they need to start thinking about starting from zero, it's really inspiring to watch someone do just that only with the added challenge of doing it in a new country with a very different language. Keep it up Joe, looking forward to the next installment.
ОтветитьWelcome to Osaka! Been living here for nearly 4 years now and it's a great place to live 😊
Ответитьthey use the same OLED panels if im not mistaken
Ответить"Starting from ZERO" first 10sec. (55inch TV, Apple TV, fully equiped home... :D For some other plp, thats "finish" part of the "start" part :D
ОтветитьSo happy for you mate! Great video. I couldn't help but imagine the nightmare it was to deal with all those cardboard knowing the strict policy about garbage in Japan 😂 Thank you for sharing this new chapter of your life. Gambate!
ОтветитьIt really looks great! Great that you do enjoy the new place
ОтветитьI remember your video on you setting up in London years ago | new chapter let’s goo
ОтветитьGetting an apt without being able to understand Japanese T_T, sounded like me applying for my bank account in Japan when I first got here. Say はい、わかりました to everything, haha. What visa are you on? Welcome to Japan!
ОтветитьI really liked this video. Loved that you showed a lot of details of what you've been up to, including the gaming part :)
ОтветитьAre you gonna learn the language?
Seems like a lot of "gaijin" don't, even if they stay for 10+ years
Congrats on everything, Joe. Would love to have a home in Japan. And I totally get your need for researching every single little item you buy — I do the same and enjoy living with stuff I truly appreciate (latest 'item' being a Japanese arcade cab — you should try that for a nice gaming experience ;D).
(☞゚ヮ゚)☞ Please make more videos like this!!
Algorithm brought me to this video. Can you share what brought you to Japan, what visa you are on, and what you do for a living
?
If not already asked (and I have looked!)
How did you cook that egg?
You need some friends bro 😮
ОтветитьGreat video! Looking forward to future vids..
Ответитьhow do you move to another country and not even study the kana beforehand
ОтветитьWould love to see more lifestyle content!
Ответитьhey Joe been following you for years. My wife is Japanese . Heading back in March for a few weeks. Would love to meet up for a beer. Just got a Q3 and can't wait to try it out in Japan. Cheers from Canada.
ОтветитьGreat apartment Joe, good luck with it and looking forward to seeing you setup the office
ОтветитьHappy for you Joe! Excited to see what you get up to here and hopefully some more photo vlogs when you're ready! p.s. booked a trip to japan this year so let's say hi if we can!
