Can I beat XCOM 2 WOTC using only Reapers?

I'm not quite sure how can you had only Reaper in your squad ? Normally we had only XCOM Soilder and faction hero will come later on.
Is this using mod or do I missing something ?

My greatest single round of combat involved banished and a few active pods, and a high level sniper with high advantage, extended mags, and auto reloads. Took out 21+ units in a single turn.

Its funny because the Hunter is very likely to have been a captured and mutated Reaper agent himself; him not attacking was possibly him showing loyalty to his brothers and sisters.

I like to point out that the Advent Facilities are a complete joke to the Reapers. With normal units along with the Skirmishers and Templars you would have to go in there with a plan and hope for the best. With Reapers you can just go straight to the place to plant the C4's, Call in the Skyranger, and leave before Advent knew what hit them.

Is there a reason why you don't do soldier bonds?

Did you know you could insta-kill even a sectopod with the reapers' banish: annihilate?

If you equip the "between the eyes" faction order and use banish on a lost while In line of sight with a sectopod, and also manage to hit the sectopod, it will be immediately destroyed

My theory is that the game believes you're still targeting the lost so when you fire at the sectopod it thinks you're still firing at a lost and still counts the "between the eyes" order


Disclaimer: I'm playing on 1.06 so it's probably patched but maybe it flew under the radar?

For it being a 50/50 chance I don’t think I’ve ever had a reaper NOT reveal from shooting.

How do you replace your soldiers with only reapers

Buffing one reapers mobility to absurd levels when I play the game makes me happy.

Why are the reapers able to shoot with 0% reveal should it be 50%

Old question from a new player...how do you get that many of one faction member? Is that a mod or am I missing something? I barely got 2 reapers by the end of my gameplay.

How do you actually replace the 12 starting soldiers with reapers? I only manage to get one at start.

The first time I ever fought the assassin, during the story mission, she was vulnerable to explosives too. And I had a decent grenadier. And she made the mistake of getting herself revealed by my scouting ranger on the upper floor of a building. So I put outrider's claymore on her, got the ranger out of the way, and hit her and the claymore with the grenadier. One shot her before I could even see any of her attacks besides her basic sword strike.

It wasn't even the first time I stomped a boss on the first encounter. Back in my first ever playthrough, my brother picked up Alien Hunters on the same PS4 and I didn't feel like abandoning the existing campaign, so I first encountered the rulers when I had a squad of colonels with tier 3 tech.

Stasis from the psi-op, 2 frost bombs on the grenadier. Using the stasis to set up and the frost bombs to hold it for 4 actions, the viper king fell on the first encounter. Added the viper suit to the plan, killed the berserker queen on the first encounter too. Couldn''t make it 3 for 3 though, the archon king took 2 encounters.

Goated attitude about your videos being popular, it’s truly amazing you can reach so many people. Anyway i love the vids, though sometimes the long runtime is intimidating, maybe even breaking them up could be good?

I still struggle to understand how the reapers, skirmishers and templars didn't already beat advent. 6 of each faction hero heroes in a squad is just ridiculously op if somehow you get enough covert ops to recruit that amount of faction hero covert ops and they all survive for more than 2 missions. Even if they had fights against eachother due to them having differing views on the world eg skirmishers r ex advent templars are cultists and the reapers hate anything to do with the elders including psionics and alien hybrids they all would still focus mostly on advent and the reapers banish ability by itself would just annihilate the chosen.

Can you show me how to do this? Like replace all normal soldiers with reapers?

Dang, now I wish I got this game on PC instead of console for the mods, but oh well I suppose. Console still works fine too.
