Wonderful instructions. Thank you.
ОтветитьI would suggest making the resolution size ratio from 16:9 to 4:3 because that's the format VHS tapes use
ОтветитьIve been looking into this effect. Try playing around with emboss. looks cool.
Also take the whole video comp, squeeze it vertically then place at bottom of screen. Add a bit of blur. This looks cool.
The displace trick is cool gonna try that.
bro that’s not even vhs💀💀
Ответитьthis program can do so much things! :0
I'm just too dumb to understand anything qwp
i would just put videos on real tapes
ОтветитьPerfect! Thanks a lot!
ОтветитьGreat! Thanks dude!
ОтветитьIs there a way to do this with Openshot Video Editor? I don't have after effects and it's out of my price range, so do you think you could do a tutorial on that?
Ответитьthis was such a great tutorial thanks!✨🏆
Ответитьawesome thank you! also, you sound exactly like comedian Will Hines.
Ответитьthanks! but this takes a year to render :(
ОтветитьIdk why but i love your voice...
ОтветитьSince I'm a beginner I found this tutorial very easy to understand.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьClarification question! What if you have green screen footage you're trying to apply the VHS effect to, but you don't want the "add" blending mode to blend with the background footage?
ОтветитьRGB deregistration isn't a feature of composite or VHS footage. VHS stores chroma and luma data separately so displacing the colour data from a B&W luma layer is more authentic. Then there's bloom, colour shift, dot creep, RF reflections etc. Hours of fun - but try the amazing VHS plugins that exist!
ОтветитьGreat tutorial thanks!
ОтветитьA masterpiece of a tutorial. 11/10
ОтветитьTy :)
ОтветитьThe result looks good, but creating that in that way is hard, especially when my Mac is retro as well! Any other suggestions to make a video look like an old VHS that was found in someone’s attic? I have a VHS/90’s sitcom style channel that needs to improve! Please help!

ОтветитьHello can I add this effect to a project or it must to be a finished video/footage/mp4 file, like a video itself already rendered? Thanks.
ОтветитьThx for front and very very nice video.
Full screen preview is missing by end :(
Guy from Germany
great video!
ОтветитьThank you so much..! tutorial is very clear,I made the trailer of my cover song....!
Ответитьsuper easy, thank you 😊
Ответитьthanks it work but rgb timewrap is easier
Ответитьничо не поняла
Ответитьwell this works with footage that already has the right color scale and shit how useless ist this for most things. thanks anyway
ОтветитьTHIS IS 6 MINUTES, I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED!!!
ОтветитьCongrats you just earned a new sub!
ОтветитьNoice
ОтветитьI have a new version. Box blur is gone. It's now "fast box blur".
Ответитьdumb as fuuuuuuuck
ОтветитьIt's 16:9 lol
Ответитьcheers. great tutorial
ОтветитьMany Thanks! This will be great for my University Project.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial. I found that the RGB channels added a very large amount of rendering time to the project.
Ответитьafter creating a new composition and adjustment layer I cant select them with the white boxes.
Ответитьthis was shit
ОтветитьLike I get it, but there's still something that looks inauthentic. idk if it's the out-of-period hair, makeup and clothing; or if it's the color.. It's just not quite right. Great tutty though. Am learning.
ОтветитьNice. Will it work on cs6?
Ответить"VHS Footage"
16:9
Perfect, no spoon feeding, over explaining or time wasted. PERFECT THANK YOU
ОтветитьMAESTRO!!!. QUE VIDEO TAN GENIAL... GRACIAS BROTHER.
