Ok. It’s still in developing state? I think it’s a great effect. Here are my thoughts:
1. listening to old Floyd backing vocals (on shine on or dark side) there are uhs and ahs. The ahs are opening up, the uhs more in background. So I think, this device needs an uh and ah control. This could be managed with that expressionpedal, you mentioned, but I think a switch would work better. By the way i cannot imagine any useful vocal part using ehs and ihs. Could be dropped.
2. I agree ... vibrato should be tracked from the guitar. At least as an option.
3. An xlr input would be great, somit could be used with sax, flute or other wind instruments. I think, there's a big interest (especially for me as guitar and flute player. And even non-singers could feed the own voise in that device singing own backing-vocals without the original voice audible. A harmonizer and pitchcorrector in front of that pedal and you are your own synthesized Choir. I WANT THAT😂.

My first thought as mentioned by Rhett, was the expression pedal, although I agreed with how neat that would be on the Formant, I may prefer it on the Vibrato and with a trim pot. More-
In all honesty, I would like to see this in a modular format, as in modular synthesis style where there are patch points in the circuit which would enable all sorts of odd mangled fun with external gear. I would probably void the warranty after day one and frankenpedal it into a monster. 🥳😆 You think I am joking around huh?? I’m pretty sure this could actually be created with today’s computer power. We have synthesizers with Formants and EH puts out alright sounding keyboard emulating harmonizer’s so my question is why not build something like this?
