Long before Fail and Darwin Award videos became popular, an event took place of such unimaginably lethal stupidity, that it will forever be unequalled!

The imbecile that became The Ultimate Darwin Award winner, Marco Siffredi, had just spent the last twelve gruelling hours climbing to the Summit of Mount Everest.

Carrying a snowboard!

It was getting dark and he was vey tired, however, neither deterred him from getting on his snowboard and having his Sherpa check that he was all good.

Once his Sherpa had completed his checks and confirmed that all was good, he manoeuvred his snowboard off the Summit of Mount Everest!

What Could Possibly Go Wrong!

The Sherpa watched as he snowboarded off the Summit and entered a layer of clouds.

He has never been seen since (8th September 2002).

He ignored the lethal dangers of avalanches and crevasse fields, snowboarding from the 29, 035 foot high Summit to enter the cloud layer, despite not being able to see anything once in the clouds!

That anyone could possibly believe that this wasn't an insanely suicidal thing to do is really quite hard to comprehend.

You couldn't make this up!
