I was coming off 30 years of hard drug abuse. It was terrible and I had to make a change in my life so I went to a 1 year program to clean up. It was a faith based program and I thought I would just go and ride it out. Was I totally wrong. Something happened to me there. The first night in chapel this song and video came on and I watched everyone worship God and I was thinking in my head what is going on. Well by the end of this song I was in total breakdown and crying. That was 3 years ago. I'm still sober and I am so in love with my God that you for sharing the gift from God.

This song was the only thing that helped me breath through the worst time of my life. I don’t think anyone knew how bad I was struggling. It sounds odd but I always saw me lying in the piercing of Gods hand. There was no way for me to fall out of his hand. I was so sad. But this song reminded me He knew everything. If all I did was lay in the truth of that piercing it was enough. I felt like He was holding me and my identity and mind together in His hand. Sometimes I listen to it now years later and it reminds me of what He did for me then. I couldn’t manage to read my bible or pray. But I could lie on my bed and just play this and warmth would come and I felt safe for a moment and that He was everything so I might be ok.x
