Quick question: you pull of right away after turning on the engine. Isn’t it advisable to let it settle down and then leave?

It's strange how much bigger these "feel". I just got a 2017 M4 Comp and was previously driving a 335i coupe and the M4 feels way bigger, but I checked the specs and it's only 3 inches wider and 3 inches longer.

Great video Joe, living close to the Welsh border I get to enjoy the great roads regularly. The M3/M4 CP's are fabulous cars, I have an M4 CP lci manual and absolutley adore it. The cabin is a great place to be and is really good quality, the carbon trim looks superb, driving position is near perfect and the seats are fantastic. I find the dynamics of the car to be excellent, it's got at least 444bhp so it's certainly lively, just what a keen driver want's in a sports coupe :) In my opinion the engine noise is great, don't expect a V8 howl but it is similar to the wonderful S54 (I have a Z4M) but with a much deeper growl and lots of turbo dumping woosh, pops and crackles with the sport and sport+ modes. I've driven e92's many times and they are lovely cars however the S55 M4 engine has so much low down torque combined with decent mpg and the F80 M3/M4 are lighter cars. BMW need commending for producing a car that is lighter and stiffer. Unfortunately these cars are rebuilding a reputation that has been tainted by the non CP cars, I'm sure given the praise that's being heaped on the CP cars the reputation is well on it's way to good health. Great to hear that the M4 CP has been rated as EVO coupe of 2017, desevedly so.

Anyone else prefer the Sedan M3 for some reason the M4 looks like any other 4 series as to the M3 has a more look to it. That’s my opinion but the more I look at the M4 the more boring it looks to me. Both fun cars though 😊

Would you advise against tuning the M140I to around 430bhp ? having watched most of your vids i'm not convinced the 1er can take the sort of power the M4 dishes out?

Just bought a 440i with Tony, did a really good price and so easy to deal with.

Happy Belated Birthday Joe. Hope you had a good one. Afraid BMW have massively pulled back on MDM with the later cars - it's a real shame - all happened with 16MY. Any decent slip angles went out the window - early cars had it just about right. Happily things massively improved with mine when I mapped it - massively better (if still a weeny bit nannying). Enjoy Wales!

Happy Birthday... I noticed a big difference in the steering between my M135i & M4. The M4 steering rack is slower but less twitchy at speed so I preferred it. Don't worry about getting older, you can take years off with 'Just for men'...
