Does the game drop the 29 at 12h01 am ? Ir later during the day
Ответить8GB of RAM to run smoothly a 17 years old game seems ridiculous. It's more than Troy and equals the recommended setting for Three Kingoms
ОтветитьThe disc space required is... well that's a lot.
ОтветитьThis video is incredibly misleading. It shouldn't matter about those reccomended specs, the GPU mentioned is 7 years old and 8gb ram is mostly in low budget pcs and laptops. If you are using a 7 year old Pc, you probably aren't able to run Rome 1 as is.
Also, they are referring to the lowest possible settings to have the game playable. Look at rome 2 on low settings and it looks absolutely dog crap. If you seriously only have 6 gb of ram and a 7 year old mid tier GPU, you couldn't run the old game. You shouldn't be concerned that the game is inaccessible to people like that. Pretty much every laptop in the last 4 years can run it.
i am too poor to buy new pc :)
ОтветитьGlad i have gaming pc 😅
ОтветитьI'd rather play rome 2 total war because it runs totally fine (1080p 40fps @ medium-high settings) on my crapy laptop with 940m.
These requirements for rome 1....i think will make me run the game at around 900p (looks crappy on 1080p monitor without AA)
My PC will do just fine. But I find it super weird that Rome Remaster has much beefier system requirements compared to Rome 2. Visually speaking Rome 2 looks much more impressive based on what I’ve seen so far. Plus Rome Remastered is running off the original Rome 1 and Medieval 2 engine which was very light for specs. My only guess is ferral heavily modified the engine and maybe the engine isn’t as good at scaling as the engine used in Rome 2.
ОтветитьI naturally expected the specs to be higher than Rome 1 but higher than Rome 2? Now that is surprising and not necessarily a good one. It could mean that the game is horribly optimised and they expect that higher will fix it for them. Anyhow, we will just have to wait a day more to find out and I'm excited! :D
ОтветитьI should run it quite well with my RTX 2060 OC and 16GB RAM. And even with my RYZEN 5 2600, tho I’m thinking about upgrade since when I tested my PC on CanYouRunIt it told me my CPU isn’t enough for recommend specs of 3K.
ОтветитьJust upgrade your PC guys, it costs next to nothing to have good game computer these days.
ОтветитьOof, I hope my Vega 7 will survive at 720p
ОтветитьThis seems like another terribly optimized Attila. I'm still looking forward to it though. Lol
ОтветитьSo, i've an Nvidia geforce820m that runs Rome total War and Attila pretty well i think, i could even play warhammer 1 and 2 on medium settings, do you think my pc could run Rome remastered?
ОтветитьCommenting for the algorithim
ОтветитьI can't say much but this is an exceptional guide video for the remaster
ОтветитьI was not playing video games for about minimum 5 years, and when the Remastered apearred, I specially for it bought a gaming PC to be able to run it. Thats how much I loved Rome 1.
ОтветитьTo be fair, my i5 2500k @4.7ghz still struggles to run the original Rome: Total War and drops below 15 fps occasionally when a lot of fire arrows happen.
Tbh my system will probably run the remaster better than the original.
Looking forward to the Rome:Remastered review!
think i would get better performance on the unremastered game at this point lol
ОтветитьI mean there is no way you can run Rome 2 with the minimum specs they display on Steam
At least I can't run it with better specs
I have a 1650 super, AMD 5600X, and 16 gigs of ram.. I think I’m good lol
ОтветитьStill after all these years i'm not understanding what the problem is lol.....
by now everybody should have the hardware to run it on
I got a new PC back in October with an Intel i5 I should be fine, it's made for gaming.
ОтветитьIt feels strange that if you were to be getting a gaming pc today 6 cores would be the minimum you could really aim for if you want to play new titles and have it be a good experience and to play a game like this with so many units that need to be controlled by the AI, you would want as much processing power as possible or the game will not be satisfying and smooth to play
so it feels out of place to me that the minimum recommended settings are so woeful it makes me wonder how the game would be enjoyable in that state, having a battle turn into a slideshow because reinforcements showed up is hardly the kind of experience you would want out of a game like this
C'mon resolution scaling to get a playable framerate on intel integrated graphics processors is completely resonable. I think it is actually good for CA to add it because if I had intel integrated graphics I would rather use 30fps with resolution scaling over native 1080p with ~20 fps.
ОтветитьWhat's your current rig ?
ОтветитьHoly Cataphract i just found out that Rome Remastered Recommended sys req is much higher that the Attila. We're screwed. I think we are going to have another Attila in terms of performance issue.
ОтветитьThose are pretty partly specs honestly. We're talking hardware that is a decade old now. Going by Steam hardware survey the median GPU is way more powerful than that. And this is a lot better than say Rome 2, IIRC (at least in terms of CPU - and there's no way a GTX 600 series GPU is going to run Rome 2) .
Of course we do live in the GPU dystopian wasteland right now :P
Original needed 3.5GB HDD now 45-70/80GB?
ОтветитьWould a brand new 2020 MacBook run this? Sorry I have no idea about computers lol
ОтветитьI have a GTX1660 super and the game runs shit Rome 2 runs much better I have a new pc also but this is even more shit than rome1
ОтветитьTell me this game is this is the best
ОтветитьSo just played Rome remastered and I get something like 30fps on ultra. Whereas I get 60ish on ultra/high on Rome 2... Bit odd?
ОтветитьThey had this game running on phones, I wonder why requirements are so high on PC
ОтветитьNope, won't even launch..
Ответить* So it can't run on Windows 8.1? lame.
ОтветитьI start my game but it doesnt do anything.. My screen stays the same and doesnt load.. Would this mean my pc isnt good enough to run the game?
ОтветитьI can't even see rome remastered options pop up after launching the game. Just pure white... My pc plays rome 2 with higher graphics pretty decently so it sucks I can't play the remastered rn. Im still glad I bought it during the $15 deal, cause no fcking way would I buy it for anything over $20. I plan on updating my tower in a month or two anyways so it'll just be a longer wait for me I guess lmao
Ответитьdamn I’m on win 7
Ответить70 gb??
dude the new medal of honor is 180 gb
70 gb is old news
40 GB for a remastered game is too "expensive". CA should work with new games like Empire 2, Medieval 3,...instead of the old games.
ОтветитьIt can barely run. Once I lowered everything to low.
ОтветитьMakes me hate it
ОтветитьI keep playing RDR2 AND RDR2O, and last I checked it was like 101 Gb.
ОтветитьIm using using a ryzen5 4500u can i run rome remastered i dont have enough money to buy a new graphics card
ОтветитьI am the most hardcore fan of Rome I. But my computer will not be able to run Rome remastered. In a nutshell, I need 8gb ram, and at least 500 gb storage ? Also Nvidea card of at least 4 gb ?
ОтветитьCant even tell a difference🤷
ОтветитьIt crashes going into battle lol
ОтветитьAre you worried about ROME Remastered's performance?
Ответить
