Film Riot University!!
ОтветитьPlease continue this 101 series❣
ОтветитьGreat video as always, thank you :D
ОтветитьDon't fall in love with a 1st AC. He's soft all the time.
ОтветитьGreat Episode.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU FOR DOING THIS SERIES.
ОтветитьLove your teams videos
Always A1 🔥
You wouldn't want to accidentally hit one of those mark buttons mid take, or think the actor is on the right mark and rack to them, and they become out of focus because their head is in a different position. Def not a good system to bring on a big-budget show to get kit rental. Tilta has a good alternative if you can't afford a Preston or Arri WCU
ОтветитьWonderful material, thanks a lot!
ОтветитьNice presentation guys!!
ОтветитьI hated being an AC but i really admire good ones.
ОтветитьHad my first gig as a DIT last week. I carefully watched and learned from the first AC and I've gotta say, all this is spot on to what he told me.
I don't see myself becoming a first AC because I'm bad enough with measurements (been practicing with pulling focus and how to efficiently set up cameras). But their skills are ones I want to master soni can become a better Director or DP
"Follow your heart, follow your marks, follow your gut and listen well"- Justin droppin wisdom.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this Ryan!!!
Respect for all the AC's out there ❤🙏
Awesome video.
Next! Could we get a video about the Grip and Electric department?!!
A whole load of white peeps with jobs is unsettling for me
ОтветитьHaving a good 1st AC is so crucial especially as sets get bigger and more needs to be managed because they will help the DP out in so many ways. I have two first AC's that I work with that are great and understand how I shoot and work so that in case one isn't available I can use the other and on bigger projects that I get hired for I always ensure that I can bring one of them on because its what has helped me get through so many scenarios
Ответитьlove this bro
ОтветитьThanks for a informative explanation on a key position in the camera department.
ОтветитьHow’s the latency on this? I have hollyland Mars 400s which has slight latency really have to pick the best channel to get lowest latency & then there is Teradek which is industry standard with very low latency. Was wondering how well this video transmission will work for focus pulling for faster actions. If filming an action scene like a fight and slight latency can throw focus pulled off
ОтветитьI'm curious if there are any struggles pulling focus when you are lefthanded.
The WCU you showed at the end of the video should be okay because of the wheel being in the center, but as far as I can tell many WCUs have the wheel on the right..
I first ac for the first time ever tomorrow and I’m super nervous, had to watch this video again to comfort me
ОтветитьDid you know this whole time I haven’t been subscribed, thinking I was subscribed wondering why you blessed my feed so sparingly 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
ОтветитьThe way both of them speak is inspiring. I use to do a lot of camera work and I did well but i didnt feel like these 2 feel about it. Much respect!
ОтветитьI'd hate to have been the 1st AC for Army of the Dead. Zack Snyder used Canon Dream lenses because they'd open up to f/ .95.
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks for the advice.
ОтветитьIs it too late for me? I'm going to be 39 in January! I belong in film!
ОтветитьI just cheat with touch-AF..
ОтветитьSo I guess the Cameraman just hits Record and aims
ОтветитьIs that a nasi flag? Lol
ОтветитьThe photo at 2.03 is 1ST AC porn...
ОтветитьWho knows
ОтветитьStill don't know what AC stands for. 🤣🤣😂😂😂. Assistant camera?
ОтветитьTakk!
Ответитьive been training as a 1st AC for 4 months and its freaking fun.
ОтветитьA really great episode full of truth & facts. No BS or grandstanding. Nice work FR 💪🏼💪🏼🎥🖋
ОтветитьJust getting into filmmaking. I was just assigned 1st AC 2 days ago with know prior experience. I am here to learn and then do!!
ОтветитьWhat an incredible video from real on set professionals. I've always loved crew because these guys are absolute studs. They rarely make mistakes, keep it professional and get through the day usually without ever complaining. 12 - 18 hour days on a regular.
ОтветитьHello guys, I really need a wireless transmitter that is not as expensive as the Teradek bolt but can also get the job done with little to delay time. What do you recommend? Thanks
Ответитьwhy there is not two different operator in camera team, one touch the camera and second who only focus focus puller work. Because if you 1 camera assist do both work it takes time to training in focus puller work.
ОтветитьI love all the comments about "yeah i've never done this and got thrown into this role" hahaha!! i'm in that boat! i just got booked for my second film as a 1st AC and just mind boggled why ME???! this is hard!! we're all 1st time 1st ACs lmao
ОтветитьThis has to be in your top best videos . I keep coming back to remind myself what this position is. Im enthralled by how well produced it is.👏👏👏
Ответитьi well talk wet belis morow to mec investigation , abut incoming u nid to pey taxe for rich men to mec move
