Game changer! This is the truth!
ОтветитьWould you have the shaft lean for hybrids too .?
Ответитьfinally a great explanation of the critical part of the swing - a lot of these just address set up or knees or backswing, but not many address this part of the downswing as well.
ОтветитьGreat instruction. Have you created a video on how to make divots in front of the ball, rather than behind the ball, when hitting irons? In other words, how to hit the ball first to avoid fat shots.
Ответитьi have been playing so bad this past Summer that I was planning on calling it quits.
Sure others know this awful feeling, it is dreadful.
I was hitting shots a trick artist could not pull off.
Anyways, I have been starting my swing by rotating my hands & did not realize it until I saw this video.
At the 1st position my trail hand facing up & lead hand facing behind me!
My goodness where do I get these bad habits.
I ordered the hanger yesterday but just watching this & doing that first move was enlightening.
It really does put you in a great position for the rest of the swing.
I Thank You tons!
I absolutely could not figure out why my right shoulder would creep forward and almost shrug on my downswing and it was driving my crazy. I felt like I was implementing everything I was being told to do, but the thought about the right hand being bent back, forcing the elbow in has been so helpful-- really can't thank you enough!
Ответить🙄
ОтветитьThey've always said the golf swing is like skipping a rock across a pond. Same exact motion. You really see that in this video.
ОтветитьI think I just realized the problem isn’t my down swing. It is my club face that isn’t giant enough.
ОтветитьBla bla blaaaaa .
If my club made a sound like that I'd get emotional and cry
That body position of "water draining from your ear" is what makes me leave my weight behind the ball and not come through.
ОтветитьAre we confusing cause and effect? If you begin you’re downswing with the correct move of the lower body, your right arm/elbow moves correctly. Compare artificially pushing your elbow in with Padraig Harrington saying that the correct move of the lower body will put the right arm in the right place.
ОтветитьLets get married- I love u
ОтветитьI now have a takeaway that has the clubface aligned with my spine angle (closed, almost pointing down to the ground). I consistently hit a high draw. My best shots are when I focus on swinging out to the right.
ОтветитьGetting your elbow into the slot is fine and everything, but how do you correctly release the club from that position. How do you release the club the through not having your left elbow chicken wing?
ОтветитьInstead of aiming left you can just open up the clubface like 1 or 2 degrees. It works haha.
ОтветитьI am currently struggling with my right arm over the top and right wrist angle releasing much earlier than impact. Thanks for this great tutorial. Will be trying to implement this and improve my ball striking.
ОтветитьGreat explanation and suggestions. What would be nice next is an explanation of the release and follow through from this pre-strike position. Thanks for all.
ОтветитьWell explained 👍👍
ОтветитьGreat instructions Craig, as usual, thanks for posting , used these tips today and my driver and irons were wayyy more consistent and straight !
Ответитьyou are a fantastic teacher using established evidence-based practices. Well Done!!!!
As in make the next step in my swing improvement I will join your site and view many of your other videos.
So what do you think about Paul Wilson's (Ignition Golf) swing theory of loose wrists?
ОтветитьI've never heard someone talk about what they are going to be talking about, and using as many words to talk about what they plan to talk about without talking about it in my life. Dang. I want my 8 minutes back
ОтветитьIs this position the same for all shots ? Like pitch shots ? Etc
Ответить영어 잘하시는분.. 포인트 요점이 뭔지 요약해주실수 있나요ㅠㅡㅜ
ОтветитьAnother great lesson thankyou keep up the good work fantastic work
ОтветитьYou are teaching the same thing as the Prosendr, but forgetting that you have to still rotate your hips up and through the ball otherwise you’ll come over the top
ОтветитьSo when do you release?
ОтветитьYour shoulders and feet are left of target/ flag? If so how much? Thanks
ОтветитьSo impact is at 12 o'clock? Then club goes to the left?
ОтветитьWell thats the end of me. I cannot get that angle in my right wrist due to a broken scaphoid, that required a bone graft from my hip, in my 20s.
Only option left is to try left handed.😢😢
I believe it’s this players left hip that clears the way not the elbow that is the most jmportant
ОтветитьYou have to also understand how your left hip has to rotate correctly so everything you are sharing works … if you don’t you could shank it more often than you ever have
ОтветитьSeriously though, thank you for this brilliant lesson. The explanation of the right arm is a game changer for some many people like me who go 'over the top' so many times on the downswing.
ОтветитьI reckon if I had a club that big I'd hit it better
ОтветитьWhat grip pressure do you recommend on a 1 to 10 scale?
ОтветитьVery interesting video! Care to send me your best grip video? Thanks Craig!
ОтветитьYou keep talking about the right hand pointing down, but in fact, when you practice the move, slowly, you don’t have it pointing down you have it pointing out towards the target – – confusing
ОтветитьWhat do you do with the hips at the same time? I have a difficult time with that first centralising squat which immediately becomes a rotation.
ОтветитьCan I ask the big head iron name please?
ОтветитьI come to these videos purely for the two intro swings. Unbelievable tempo and balance
ОтветитьThis has helped me get that shaft lean at impact and really compress the ball better, and not be so handsy.
ОтветитьMoe Norman called this a vertical drop - its been ignored by PGA instruction and club instructors for decades -
ОтветитьLove that you showed Moe Norman in the slot, ballstriking genius
ОтветитьAt what point do you let it go so you dont push right?
ОтветитьI’ve watched a ton of videos on YT and this simple tip gave me a bigger breakthrough than any of them. Thank you!
